In-partial modification / amendment in the Advertisement Notice published in Daily “DUNYA (MULTAN)” “EXPRESS TRIBUNE (LAHORE)” “SAFEER-E-PUNJAB (MULTAN)” “WATEEN (VEHARI)” dated 12-08-2026 under IPL No. 8288.

Special Education Department is inviting from eligible candidates for hiring of School Teaching Interns (STIs) against vacant teaching posts in Special Education Institutions of Multan Division. i.e. District Lodhran and Vehari policy of Government of the Punjab, Special Education Department vide No. SO(Estt)3-26/07(3859) dated 25-03-2026.

2. ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION AND AGE LIMIT

Senior Special Education Teacher (HI)

BPS: 17

Academic Qualification:
M.A or M.Ed. or BS (first division or grade-B) in Special Education with specialization in the field of deaf or equivalent qualification from a university recognized by Higher Education Commission.

Age Limit: 21-28 Years

Age Relaxation:

Male: upto 05-Years
Female: upto 08-Years
Disable Persons: Up to 15 years (subject to disability certificate)

Junior Special Education Teacher (H.I)

BPS: 16

Academic Qualification:
M.A or BS (second division or grade-C) in Special Education with specialization in the field of deaf or equivalent qualification from a university recognized by Higher Education Commission.

Age Limit: 21-28 Years

Age Relaxation:

Male: upto 05-Years
Female: upto 08-Years
Disable Persons: Up to 15 years (subject to disability certificate)

Junior Special Education Teacher (V.I)

BPS: 16

Academic Qualification:
M.A. or BS (second division or grade-C) in Special Education with specialization in the field Blind or equivalent qualification from a university recognized by Higher Education Commission; and
(ii) Certificate of proficiency in Braille issued by the Directorate General of Special Education, Punjab.

Age Limit: 21-28 Years

Age Relaxation:

Male: upto 05-Years
Female: upto 08-Years
Disable Persons: Up to 15 years (subject to disability certificate)

Speech Therapist

BPS: 17

Academic Qualification:
(i) M.A. or BS in Special Education or equivalent qualification from university recognized by Higher Education Commission; and (ii) one year post graduate Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy or (iii) BS or B.Sc (hons.) (second division) in Speech and Language Therapy or Pathology or equivalent qualification from a university recognized by Higher Education Commission.

Age Limit: 21-28 Years

Age Relaxation:

Male: upto 05-Years
Female: upto 08-Years
Disable Persons: Up to 15 years (subject to disability certificate)

3. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Candidates must possess the prescribed qualification and age limit (including age relaxation) as per STI Policy issued by Special Education Department. Fresh aspiring candidates having relevant qualification are encouraged to apply. However, preference may be given to candidates having teaching experience.

4. TERMS & CONDITIONS

Engagement shall be purely temporary, school-specific and non-transferable.
Preference may be given to candidates having teaching experience.
Duration: 09 months (excluding summer vacations) during Financial Year 2026-27 or till arrival of regular incumbents, whichever is earlier.
Monthly Honorarium:
- BS-16: Rs. 40,000/-
- BS-17: Rs. 45,000/-
No right of regular appointment shall be conferred.
Performance and attendance will be strictly monitored by concerned authorities.
Engagement may be terminated on one month notice or payment in lieu thereof.

5. APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Interested candidates shall submit applications along with attested copies of:
- Updated CV, CNIC, Domicile, Academic Certificates/Degrees, Experience Certificates (if any) and two Passport size pictures.
Applications must reach in the concerned Special Education institution by hand or courier till 18-09-2026.
Candidates must bring original documents at the time of interview.
The department reserves the right to increase/decrease number of posts or cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
Interview of eligible / short listed candidates will be held as per following date, time and venue and special intimation regarding appearance of applicants in interview via letter, SMS and email will not be issued.
Important Note: The applicants already submitted applications for the posts published on 12-08-2026 have no need to apply again, however, if they feel eligible for newly added posts, they have to apply separately for these posts.
