Faculty Recruitment

Teaching Faculty | Academic Leadership | Permanent Positions

We are seeking passionate Teaching Faculty and visionary Academic Leaders

Positions Open: Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Lecturer
Location: GIFT University, Gujranwala
Employment Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

Deliver studio-based, experiential teaching and mentor students through projects and critiques.
Integrate fieldwork, live projects and experiential learning into curricula, with quality assurance.
Pursue research, scholarly publications, creative practice, exhibitions and design practice.
Strengthen industry-academia linkages, professional partnerships and national and international collaborations.
Advance GIFT’s Education to Entrepreneurship ecosystem, in line with the University’s vision.
Senior ranks: lead SFADA strategically, including faculty development and academic planning.
Ensure HEC compliance and accreditation.

Eligibility Criteria

Appointments mainly follow the HEC Faculty Appointment Criteria for Arts & Design (Studio Practice) and Architecture disciplines.
Professor: PhD or equivalent terminal qualification in the relevant discipline, extensive academic or professional experience, and a sustained record of exhibitions, design practice or research.
Associate Professor: PhD or equivalent terminal degree (Master’s/MFA route for studio practice) with required experience and substantial professional art or design activity.
Assistant Professor: PhD or terminal degree in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized institution.
Lecturer: First-class first professional degree or Master’s in the relevant field; council registration where applicable (architecture).
Leadership roles: proven academic leadership, planning, faculty development and quality assurance.
