Reko Diq Mining Company, operated by Barrick and a joint venture with the Government of Balochistan and the Government of Pakistan, is recruiting a team of high-caliber individuals for the development of its outstanding, world-class mining project—the Reko Diq copper-gold mine in Balochistan.
Position: Health and Wellbeing Officer
- Department: Health & Safety
- Location: Reko Diq SITE – Balochistan
- Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or a related field.
- Valid certification or license to practice physiotherapy in the relevant region.
- Further education in physical rehabilitation or health and wellness (if applicable) is a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a physiotherapist in a health clinic, hospital, or rehabilitation center.
- Experience working with clients of various ages and fitness levels.
- Experience in corporate wellness programs or organizational health initiatives is a plus.
- Requirements:
- Skilled physiotherapist with expertise in manual therapy, rehabilitation, and post-injury recovery.
- Must have experience in musculoskeletal conditions, postural disorders, and physical rehab.
- Strong understanding of anatomy and biomechanics.
- Strong communication, assessment, and program design skills required.
- Ability to motivate clients, manage time, and work independently or in a team.
- Familiarity with modern physiotherapy tools and technology essential.
- Responsibilities:
- Provide physical care advice, design exercise programs, and treat musculoskeletal issues.
- Collaborate on wellness strategies, educate on injury prevention, and monitor client progress.
- Lead corporate health programs, conduct assessments, and offer workshops.
- Strong communication, budget management, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Experience in fostering partnerships with health organizations is a plus.
Position: Electrical Foreman
- Department: Construction
- Location: Reko Diq SITE – Balochistan
- Qualification:
- Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) (Power/ Electronics)
- Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of relevant process and mining environment experience.
- Requirements:
- Proficient in the operation and maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Skilled in problem-solving and decision-making in critical situations.
- Strong understanding of HV, MV, and LV electrical systems, combined with practical hands-on experience across various industries.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills with a focus on safety and operational efficiency.
- Responsibilities:
- Lead a team to manage MV and LV power reticulation, ensuring safety compliance and operational efficiency.
- Oversee electrical substation compliance, inspect and troubleshoot electrical faults, and handle HFO, diesel thermal power (1-300 MW), and solar power plant integration (1-150 MW).
- Manage cable jointing, motor overhauling, and commissioning ABB, Siemens, and Schneider equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance and ensure the proper use of electrical testing tools for fault detection.
- Safety protocols will be strictly enforced to prevent hazards.
- Proficiency in electrical software and project management tools is essential for streamlined operations.
