2. Engro Technical Solutions is hiring an E&IH Sustainability Engineer, based in Karachi.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and 3–4 years of relevant experience in Environment and Industrial Hygiene/Occupational Health, preferably within the fertilizer or petrochemical industry. They should have strong knowledge of environmental regulations, HSE standards, ISO 14001, EPA/SEPA and NIOSH guidelines. Candidates should also be familiar with the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards and GRI Standards for sustainability reporting.
Job Summary:
The role is responsible for providing Environment and Industrial Hygiene (IH/OH) guidance across Engro’s business units to ensure consistent HSE management in line with national and international standards. The candidate will identify environmental and occupational health hazards, develop HSE standards, conduct audits, monitor performance, and recommend corrective actions.
