The Higher Education Department invites applications from suitable candidates for the following positions under the Strategic Planning Unit project (SPU).

Vacant Positions:

1. Planning Officer

Number of Posts: 2
Age Limit: 25-40 years
Pay Package: 80,000 PKR
Qualifications & Experience:
- 16 years of education in Economics, Commerce, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Public Administration, or Computer Sciences from an HEC-recognized university.
- At least 2 years of experience. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in development planning/planning management in the public sector.
- Must be computer literate with a strong command of MS Office.

2. Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

Number of Posts: 2
Age Limit: 25-40 years
Pay Package: 80,000 PKR
Qualifications & Experience:
- 16 years of education in Quality Management, Public Administration, Project Management, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university.
- At least 2 years of experience in Assessment, Monitoring, and Evaluation or a related field.
- Must be computer literate with experience in Computer Software such as MS Office Suite and STATA.

3. Driver

Number of Posts: 2
Age Limit: 18-35 years
Pay Package: 25,000 PKR
Qualifications & Experience:
- Middle-level education.
- Valid LTV License.
- At least 2 years of driving experience.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Applications must be typed on the prescribed form, available on the Higher Education Department’s website (https://hed.punjab.gov.pk). The form should be submitted along with attested copies of CNIC, degrees, certificates, and a detailed CV to the Section Officer (General), Higher Education Department, New Anarkali Bazar, Opposite Lahore Museum, Lahore by 24.03.2025. The name of the post should be clearly mentioned on the upper right corner of the envelope. Late applications will not be considered.
Only candidates with a domicile of Punjab are eligible to apply.
If applying for multiple positions, candidates must submit separate forms and envelopes for each post.
The appointment will be made under Recruitment Policy 2022 (as amended) for an initial period of one year, extendable based on satisfactory performance.
Government employees should apply through the proper channel.
The competent authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts without providing any reason.
Incomplete applications will be rejected. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview. No TA/DA will be provided.
The department reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reason.
Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided as per the Punjab government’s policy.
