Basic Scale: BPS-18
Nature of Post: On Contract Basis for a period of 03 years (Extendable on good performance)

PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE AS PER SERVICE RULES

i) MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission;
ii) Registered with Pakistan Medical Commission; and
iii) FCPS, MD, CCT, Diploma American Board in Neonatology or equivalent qualification recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission.

If no candidate is available with the aforesaid qualifications, then

FCPS (Paediatrics), MD (Paediatrics), MRCPCH, Diploma American Board of Paediatrics or equivalent qualification recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission with one year experience in Neonatology after post-graduation in Paediatrics obtained in a training program accredited by National Body (CPSP or University) or an International Body recognized by Pakistan Medical Commission.

And if no such candidate is available with the aforesaid qualifications, then

FCPS (Paediatrics), MD (Paediatrics), MRCPCH, Diploma American Board of Paediatrics or equivalent qualifications recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission with two years experience in Neonatology after post-graduation in Paediatrics from an institute recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission.

NOTE:
PMDC/PMC Registration showing requisite qualifications should be valid up to the closing date of the advertised post(s) or if expired/updated, applying proof renewal of registration on or before the closing date is required.

CONDITION OF EXPERIENCES:

i) Only Practical Experience in recognized institution issued by the appointing authority/PMDC/PMC after the prescribed qualification (mentioning clearly designation, Pay Scale, Field, nature of experience and duration) shall be considered. (Experience certificate shall be accepted only if it is supported with appointment Letters/Notification/Office Order).

ii) Experience gained in Government Sector in respect of Contract, Current/Charge, and Acting on Ad-hoc basis will only be accepted, if the same is issued by the Appointing/Competent Authority/PMDC/PMC.

iii) Experience gained on OPS/Designated basis (up to 17.06.2021), only, BOM (Board of Management), TTS (Tenure Track System/ Status), University Cadre, etc., shall only be considered, if the same is recognized and issued by PMDC/PMC. In such cases candidate shall provide his total experience from PMDC/PMC. Separate Experience Certificate issued by Appointing Authority and PMDC/PMC will not be consolidated for eligibility.

iv) Experience gained from Foreign/Autonomous body/Private institution shall only be accepted, if the same is recognized and issued by PMDC/PMC.

i) MBBS or equivalent qualification from an institute or university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission and FCPS or MS or FRCS or MRCP or MD or Diploma of American Board in the respective specialty or equivalent medical qualification in the specialty from an institute or university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission.

If none is available with above qualifications then:

MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from an institute or university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission and FCPS or MS or FRCS or MRCP or MD or Diploma of American Board (General Surgery or Medicine, whichever is relevant to the respective specialty) or equivalent medical qualification from an institute or university recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission with three years’ post-graduation practical experience in the respective specialty from a recognized institute.

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF OPERATIVE DENTISTRY

Basic Scale: BPS-18
Nature of Post: On Contract Basis For a period of Three (03) years, Extendable on Good performance

PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE AS PER SERVICE RULES

i) BDS or equivalent qualifications recognized by PMDC/PMC with post graduate qualifications viz. MDS in the relevant subject or other equivalent qualifications recognized by the PMDC/PMC with post graduate qualifications viz. MDS in the relevant subject or other equivalent qualifications recognized by the PMDC/PMC.

Teaching experience will be preferred and credit will be given for original research work published in a standard medical / dental journal.

ii) If no such candidate with the aforesaid qualifications is available then

a) BDS or equivalent dental qualification recognized by PMDC/PMC with post graduate minor Diploma qualifications in the relevant subject as recognized by the PMDC/PMC; and

b) 3 years teaching experience in the relevant subject as Demonstrator in a recognized institution after post graduate qualification. Credit will be given for original research work published in a standard Medical/Dental Journal.

iii) If no such candidate with the aforesaid qualifications is available; then

a) BDS or equivalent dental qualifications recognized by the PMDC/PMC and

b) 10 years teaching experience as Demonstrator in the relevant subject; provided that at least 3 research papers published in a standard dental/medical journal.

EXPERIENCES:

PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE AS PER SERVICE RULES

i) MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by PMDC/PMC;

ii) Registered with the PMDC / PMC;

iii) FCPS, MD, CCT, Diploma American Board in Neonatology or equivalent qualification recognized by the PMDC / PMC.

If no candidate is available with the aforesaid qualification, then FCPS (Paediatrics), MD (Paediatrics), MRCPCH, Diploma American Board of Paediatrics or equivalent qualification recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council/Pakistan Medical Commission who are years experience in Neonatology after post-graduation in Paediatrics obtained in a training program accredited by a National Body (CPSP or University) or an International Body recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission.

And if no such candidate is available with the aforesaid qualifications, then FCPS (Paediatrics), MD (Paediatrics), MRCPCH, Diploma American Board of Paediatrics or equivalent qualifications recognized by Pakistan Medical Commission with two years’ experience in Neonatology after post-graduation in Paediatrics from an institute recognized by the Pakistan Medical Commission.

iv) And if no such candidate is available with the aforesaid qualifications, then FCPS (Paediatrics), MD (Paediatrics), MRCPCH, Diploma American Board of Paediatrics or equivalent qualification from an institute recognized by Pakistan Medical Commission with two years’ experience in Neonatology after post-graduation in Paediatrics from an institute recognized by Pakistan Medical Commission.

v) MD or no such candidate is available with the aforesaid qualifications, then FCPS (Paediatrics), MD (Paediatrics), MRCPCH, Diploma American Board of Paediatrics or equivalent qualification recognized by Pakistan Medical Commission with two years’ experience in Neonatology after post-graduation in Paediatrics from an institute recognized by Pakistan Medical Commission.

vi) Three research publications in Neonatology, as Assistant Professor published in a standard medical journal recognized by PMDC/PMC or the Higher Education Commission.

Male: 30 to 50 + 05 = 55 years
Female: 30 to 50 + 08 = 58 years

Age and sex of the transgender will be based on the contents of their CNIC.

NOTE:-

i) Applicants are directed to provide hard copy of their on-line application form alongwith two photocopy sets of all relevant documents & relevant Research Papers within 07 working days after the closing date failing which their applications will be treated as rejected and no further communication will be entertained in this regard.

ii) Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC)/PMDC Registration should be valid up to the closing date of the advertised post(s). If expired, applying proof of renewal of registration on or before the closing date is required.

iii) RESEARCH PAPERS: Only those relevant ORIGINAL ARTICLES which have been published in book-form on or before the closing date shall be considered. Review articles, case-studies/reports, translations, briefs, papers presented in conferences, editorials, etc. shall not be admissible as published research papers. However, online published research papers. However, online published research journal shall be accepted. The journal(s) should be indexed by PMDC/PMC/PHEC/Index Medicus/ExcerptaMedica/Embase. Recognition list of such journal(s) by PMC/PMDC shall also be required.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

Please read the “Important Instructions” regarding Application Fee, Written Test, Interview on PPSC website www.ppsc.gop.pk before applying online.
The schedules of tests and syllabus, if any, shall be issued only on the official website of PPSC. Therefore, candidates must visit the PPSC website frequently for test schedules, syllabus, and other related information.
Employees of Federal Government or Semi Government and Autonomous Bodies of Federal Government and those of Local Bodies are not entitled to age concession for the period of their service in such organization.
In case a candidate claims that his/her qualification is equivalent to the prescribed qualification, he/she will be required to submit equivalence certificate of his/her foreign/local qualification issued by Higher Education Commission (H.E.C) or Qualification Equivalence Determination Committee (Q.E.D.C) of concerned Department, which will be accepted by the Commission as Final, at the time of interview or whenever asked by the Commission. If a candidate fails to submit Equivalence Certificate issued by the Competent Authority at the time of interview whenever asked by the Commission, his/her candidature shall be cancelled.
In case, a candidate claims experience of private firm / entity, he / she must bring proof at the time of interview that the firm / entity is registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms or any other Regulatory Authority, failing which his / her application shall be rejected. Candidate must provide proof of registration showing that the concerned private entity had the status of a registered body during the period of experience claimed by the candidate.
In-service candidates will ensure while applying for particular post(s) that they have obtained/applied for NOC/DPC from their concerned department(s) and will provide the same at the time of interview (if called).
The candidates will ensure while applying for Registrar post(s) that they have obtained/applied for Registration Certificate from PEC/PNC/PMDC/PMC or other relevant regulatory body on or before the closing date and will provide the same at the time of interview (if called).
