ABOUT THE PROJECT We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Information Security / Cybersecurity Officer to strengthen the security posture of our Company. The selected candidate will be responsible for protecting the organization’s information assets, ensuring compliance with security policies, identifying and mitigating cyber risks, and responding to security incidents.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s information security policies, standards, and procedures.

Monitor and assess cybersecurity risks across servers, networks, endpoints, cloud services, and applications.

Configure, manage, and monitor security tools such as firewalls, endpoint protection, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), SIEM, and vulnerability scanners.

Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, security audits, and risk assessments.

Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents, coordinating containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident reporting.

Implement and monitor security controls in accordance with industry best practices.

Ensure compliance with applicable cybersecurity standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.

Conduct security awareness and phishing awareness training for employees.

Review system logs and security alerts, and recommend corrective actions.

Coordinate with IT teams to ensure secure system configurations, patch management, and access control.

Maintain disaster recovery and cybersecurity incident response documentation.

Evaluate emerging cyber threats and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related discipline.

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in information security or cybersecurity.

Strong understanding of:

• Network Security
• Endpoint Security
• Identity and Access Management (IAM)
• Firewall Administration
• SIEM Solutions
• IDS/IPS Technologies
• Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing concepts
• Incident Response and Digital Forensics fundamentals
• Security Monitoring and Log Analysis
• Cloud Security concepts (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, or similar)
• Backup and Disaster Recovery

Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, or CIS Controls.

Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of AI/Agentic AI for use in Information/Cyber Security will be an added advantage.

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS Preference will be given to candidates holding one or more of the following certifications:

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

CompTIA Security+

CompTIA CySA+

Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor

Cisco CyberOps Associate

Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity

Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto, Sophos, Check Point, or equivalent security certifications
