FACULTY POSITIONS REQUIRED: Applications are invited on the prescribed form for different positions from eligible candidates having domicile of Sindh. Candidates should submit attested photocopies of all relevant documents along with a Demand Draft / Pay Order of Rs. 3000/- (non-refundable) as a processing fee in favor of the Director Finance, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Shaheed Benazirabad. Applications should be submitted within the deadline mentioned in the advertisement. Faculty Positions (Two Years contract, extendable)

Professor (BPS-21) – Computer Science / Information Technology
Minimum Qualification: PhD from an HEC recognized institution in the relevant field.
Experience: 15 years of teaching/research experience at an HEC recognized university or postgraduate institution, or professional experience in a national or international reputed organization in the relevant field.
Publications: The applicant must have at least 15 research publications, with a minimum of 5 publications in the last 5 years in HEC-recognized journals.
OR
10 years of post-PhD teaching/research experience in an HEC-recognized university, postgraduate institution, or professional experience in a reputed organization.
Lecturers (BPS-18) – Various Disciplines
Disciplines:

  Minimum Qualification: First Class MS/MPhil or equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education in the relevant field from an HEC recognized university, with no third division in the academic career.
  Condition: Candidates holding a PhD or equivalent degree are allowed one third division in their entire academic career.
Lecturer (BPS-18) – Arts & Design
Minimum Qualification: First Class degree with 16 years of education in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized university, with no third division in the academic career.
Condition: Candidates holding a PhD or equivalent degree may have one third division in their academic career.

Non-Faculty Positions

Registrar (BPS-20) – Tenure post (three years, extendable)
Minimum Qualification:
- M.A., M.Sc., MBA, or B.E. (preferably in 1st class) or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized university, with 17 years of relevant experience in BPS-17 and above in a recognized university, board, college, or government department.
  OR
- PhD, MS/MPhil, M.E. (or equivalent qualification) from an HEC-recognized university with 15 years of relevant experience in BPS-17 and above.
  The candidate must be fully conversant with the rules and regulations governing administration in government departments or autonomous organizations, including conducting meetings of statutory bodies.
  Maximum Age Limit: 50 years (relaxable if more suitable candidates are found).
Controller of Examinations (BPS-20) – Tenure post (three years, extendable)
Qualifications and Experience: Same as Registrar.
Maximum Age Limit: 50 years (relaxable if more suitable candidates are found).

Terms and Conditions

Candidates applying for the post of Professor (BPS-21) must submit three copies of their biodata along with relevant documents, properly bounded, showing work experience details.
The domicile condition applies to all positions (Sindh province).
Candidates who have already applied for the post of Lecturer (BPS-18) do not need to apply again.
Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous body employees must apply through proper channels, accompanied by an NOC from their employer, and must ensure they are relieved by their departments.
Candidates applying for multiple posts must submit separate applications for each post, along with separate Bank Demand Drafts.
Age may be relaxed for suitable candidates.
Incomplete applications or applications without required educational/professional certificates, processing fees, or those received after the deadline will not be entertained.
The university reserves the right to increase, decrease, or withdraw any positions without notice.
The university reserves the right to cancel any or all advertised posts.
Only short-listed candidates will be contacted for test/interview.
No TA/DA will be provided for the test/interview.
