CAREER OPPORTUNITIES: The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, the apex regulator of Pakistan’s Capital Market and Corporate Sector, invites applications from qualified, result-oriented, and dynamic professionals with impeccable integrity as well as strong analytical and technical skills, for the following Islamabad-based contractual positions:

Joint Director – Information Systems & Technology Division (IS&TD)

Location: Islamabad (1 Position)
Qualification:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (equivalent to 16 years of education) in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/ IT or related disciplines from an HEC-recognized university/institute.
- Professional-level certifications in Network and Cybersecurity will be preferred (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet NSE).
Experience: Applicants must have at least 10 years of post-qualification experience related to Network Communication and IT Operations.
Age Limit: The maximum age should not exceed 45 years as on the closing date for submission of applications.

Assistant Director – Listed and Unlisted Companies Supervision Department (Supervision Division)

Location: Islamabad (1 Position)
Qualification:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (equivalent to 16 years of education) in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized university/institution; or
- CA/ACCA/CMA.
Experience:
- Applicants must have at least 3 years of post-qualification experience in corporate regulation, regulatory compliance, financial reporting, corporate governance, audit, accounting, capital markets, or related areas.
- For Qualified Chartered Accountants, the articleship period will be considered part of the requisite experience.
Age Limit:
- The maximum age should not exceed 35 years as on the closing date for submission of applications.
- Candidates who have at least 3 years’ experience working with a regulator will be given age relaxation of 5 years.

Assistant Director – Licensing Division

Location: Islamabad (1 Position)
Qualification:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (equivalent to 16 years of education) in Law, Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized university/institution; or
- CA/ACCA/CMA.
Experience:
- Applicants must have at least 3 years of post-qualification experience in regulatory bodies, financial institutions, capital market, insurance, NBFCs, corporate/legal affairs, regulatory compliance, licensing, or related areas.
- For Qualified Chartered Accountants, the articleship period will be considered part of the requisite experience.
Age Limit:
- The maximum age should not exceed 35 years as on the closing date for submission of applications.
- Candidates, who have at least 3 years’ experience working with a regulator, will be given age relaxation of 5 years.

Appointments shall be made on a contractual basis for a term of three (3) years, extendable on organizational need and performance basis. The Commission may consider regularization of these positions after completion of three years, subject to fulfilment of the criteria prescribed for this purpose.
