Position: Chief Financial Officer/ Head of Finance Division
Salary Level: Up to EVP
Location: Islamabad
Job Summary:
The position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company, responsible to the company’s Chief Executive Officer/ Board of Directors for all accounting and financial matters. This position will ensure implementation of company-wide objectives, policies & procedures, programs, and practices in assuring the company of a continuously sound financial accounting structure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with accepted accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and audit requirements.
- Initiate and manage budgeting activities and ensures implementation of budgets to monitor progress and present financial metrics both internally and externally so that timely decisions are made.
- Manage cash flow and forecasting, develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanisms. CFO ensures custody of and disburse the company’s monies and securities.
- Liaison with external auditors as needed.
- Review, finalize and consolidate quarterly, half yearly and annual financial statements of Saudi Pak in accordance with applicable financial reporting standards. CFO is the company scorekeeper using tools like the financial statement ratio analysis to communicate both the company’s expected and actual financial performance.
- Submits returns to State Bank of Pakistan. Engages and facilitates the SBP Inspection Team in providing the required data and explanation.
- Partnering in establishment of annual business plan and objectives with the leadership, coordinate the long-range plans of the company, assess the financial requirements implicit in these plans, and develop alternative ways in which financial requirements can be satisfied.
- Overseeing the budget process, collecting the inputs, and comparing the company’s actual performance with estimates (the budget).
- Carries out comprehensive performance evaluation and identifies training needs of the team. Develops employees in the team by mentoring and coaching.
- Any other duty assigned by the GM/Chief Executive.
Education: Member of recognized body of Professional Accountants or Post Graduate Degree in Finance from recognized university or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience of financial management.
