• Position: Draftsman
• No. of Positions: 01
• Duty Location: Head Office

Qualification

• Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Civil Engineering from a recognized technical institute. Candidates with relevant AutoCAD / Civil 3D certifications or additional technical qualifications will be preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in civil drafting, detailing, and design documentation, preferably in large-scale industrial, infrastructure, oil & gas, power, or civil construction projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed civil drawings, layouts, plans, sections, elevations, and construction details.
• Develop and modify drawings based on engineering designs, site requirements, and consultant/client instructions.
• Prepare detailed drawings for foundations, structural elements, buildings, roads, drainage, utilities, and other civil works.
• Coordinate with Civil Engineers, Design Engineers, Project Managers, Consultants, and Site Teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
• Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, specifications, and compliance with approved designs and project standards.
• Incorporate revisions, comments, and approved changes into drawings while maintaining proper revision control.
• Prepare As-Built Drawings based on actual site execution and approved changes.
• Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, transmittals, and design documentation.
• Assist the engineering and construction teams in resolving drawing-related technical and site execution issues.
• Ensure all drawings are prepared in accordance with applicable project specifications, standards, and approved engineering practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; knowledge of Civil 3D, Revit, MS Office, and other relevant design/drafting software will be highly preferred.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Additional qualifications/certifications in Quantity Surveying, Contracts, Estimation, or Project Management will be an added advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in proposal preparation, tendering, estimation, costing, BOQs, quantity take-offs, technical/commercial bid preparation, and tender documentation, preferably with large-scale industrial, infrastructure, oil & gas, power, or civil construction projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, monitor, and update detailed project schedules and baseline programs.
• Prepare project work programs, WBS, activity sequences, milestones, and critical path analysis.
• Monitor actual project progress against approved schedules, targets, and milestones.
• Prepare and maintain Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Progress Reports, S-Curves, dashboards, and performance reports.
• Identify delays, critical activities, schedule deviations, and potential project risks and assist in developing effective recovery plans.
• Prepare and monitor Look-Ahead Plans, progress trackers, and productivity reports.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Site Engineers, Consultants, Subcontractors, and other stakeholders for effective project execution.
• Monitor manpower, equipment, material, and other resource requirements against project plans.
• Analyze project performance, productivity, planned vs. actual progress, and schedule variances.
• Assist in preparation of Extension of Time (EOT), Delay Analysis, Recovery Programs, and Time Impact Analysis where required.
• Maintain accurate project planning records, schedules, progress documentation, and project control databases.
• Participate in project progress meetings and provide updates on schedule status, critical activities, delays, and upcoming targets.
• Ensure timely submission of planning and progress reports to Project Management and Head Office.
• Coordinate with commercial and execution teams to ensure alignment between project progress, quantities, and billing milestones.
• Ensure effective use of Primavera P6, MS Project, MS Excel, and other project planning/control tools.
