Looking for an experienced and dynamic professional for the following position of our Supply Chain Department located at our head office in Clifton, Karachi:

Position: Manager (Supply Chain)

The incumbent will be responsible for effectively managing and optimizing supply chain operations to ensure uninterrupted availability of materials, efficient inventory levels, timely logistics, and cost-effective supply chain processes in support of the Company’s manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies aligned with business and manufacturing requirements.

Lead supply and material planning to ensure uninterrupted availability of critical materials, spares, consumables, and other operational requirements.

Monitor inventory levels and optimize stockholding while ensuring continuity of operations.

Coordinate closely with Production, Mechanical, Finance, Stores and other relevant functions.

Monitor and improve supplier performance, delivery schedules, service levels, and overall supply reliability.

Identify supply chain risks and develop appropriate contingency plans to minimize operational disruptions.

Analyze demand, consumption patterns, inventory trends, lead times, and supply chain KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement.

Drive initiatives for cost optimization, inventory reduction, process improvement, and enhanced supply chain efficiency.

Oversee logistics and material movement to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Establish and monitor appropriate supply chain performance indicators and prepare periodic management reports.

Ensure adherence to Company policies, procedures, controls, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualification & Experience:

MBA / equivalent qualification, preferably with specialization in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related discipline.

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably gained in a manufacturing, industrial, or large-scale corporate environment.

Strong hands-on experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, logistics, materials management, and supplier coordination.

Experience in the cement, construction materials, or process manufacturing industry and working on SAP will be an added advantage.

Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Proven ability to lead teams and drive process improvement initiatives.
