In line with our strategy, the Bank is looking for talented, dedicated, and experienced professional(s) for the following positions in the area of Inclusive Development based in Karachi.

The individuals who fulfill the below basic-eligibility criteria may apply for the following positions



Position / Job Title: Unit Head – Supply Chain Financing & Strategic Alliances (AVP / VP)
Reporting to: Wing Head – SME Policy, Product Development & Research

Educational / Professional Qualification:

  • Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC.
  • Candidates having a Master’s degree from HEC recognized university / institution will be preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 08 years of banking experience, out of which at least 04 years in Supply Chain Financing and/or Strategic Alliances.
  • Candidates having experience in SME lending businesses will be preferred.

Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required:

  • Proven track record of success in Supply Chain Financing & Strategic Alliances roles within the banking industry, with specific experience in SME banking.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic business growth plans, drive innovation, and optimize product delivery.
  • Strong understanding of SME market dynamics, supply chain ecosystem, and corporate needs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail and data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance considerations related to banking products and services.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation for identifying patterns, trends, and insights.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Proficient in MS Office.

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities:

  • To lead the development and enhancement of products and services related to supply chain financing and strategic alliances, in line with the Bank’s overall strategy and objectives.
  • To conduct thorough research and analysis to identify opportunities for new product development.
  • To develop and execute sales and trading strategies.
  • To manage relationships with institutional clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions in terms of Supply Chain Financing.
  • To oversee the development and implementation of Supply Chain Financing solutions for the Bank, including policy and process structure recommendations.
  • To collaborate with internal and external partners to structure financing products that mitigate risks and improve efficiency in supply chain operations.
  • To develop marketing and sales strategies to promote Supply Chain Financing services and products to clients to maximize revenue generation and profitability.
  • To identify and evaluate potential strategic alliances and partnerships that align with the Bank’s objectives and growth strategy.
  • To coordinate partnership agreements and contracts, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with banking regulations.
  • To collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate alliance partners into the Bank’s product and service offerings.
  • To lead the end-to-end product development process, including initial testing, prototyping, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and regulatory requirements.
  • To work with marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product messaging, and promotional campaigns.
  • To provide training and support to frontline staff to ensure a deep understanding of SME products and effective customer engagement.
  • To prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting market performance, market trends, and strategic recommendations.
  • To ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in the development and delivery of SME banking products.
  • To perform any other assignment(s) as assigned by the supervisor(s).

Position / Job Title: Product Manager – SME Policy & Product (OG-I / AVP)
Reporting to: Unit Head – SME Policy & Product Development

Educational / Professional Qualification:

  • Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC.
  • Candidates having a Master’s degree from HEC recognized university / institution will be preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 03 years of banking experience, out of which at least 01 year of experience in SME Product Management, preferably in design & development.
  • Candidates having experience in SME lending businesses will be preferred.

Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required:

  • Strong understanding of SME banking needs, market dynamics, and regulatory landscape.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance considerations related to banking products and services.
  • Understanding of financial principles, including risk management and financial modeling.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation for identifying patterns, trends, and insights.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Proficient in MS Office.

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities:

  • To develop and execute a comprehensive product program for SMEs aligned with the Bank’s overall objectives.
  • To analyze market data and customers’ feedback to identify opportunities for product development and enhancement.
  • To drive continuous improvement through iteration and optimization of existing products based on customers’ feedback and market dynamics.
  • To partner with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product messaging, and promotional campaigns.
  • To provide training and support to frontline staff to ensure a deep understanding of SME products and effective customer engagement.
  • To define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the success and adoption of SME banking products.
  • To prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting product performance, market trends, and strategic recommendations.
  • To ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in the development and delivery of SME banking products.
  • To conduct UAT of product program on Loan Origination System (LOS) and ensure its smooth implementation.
  • To assess and mitigate risks associated with new product initiatives, conducting thorough risk assessments and implementing appropriate controls.
  • To stay abreast of regulatory changes impacting SME banking products and proactively adjust product offerings and processes to remain compliant.
  • To perform any other assignment(s) as assigned by the supervisor(s).

Assessment Test / Interview:
Only shortlisted candidates strictly meeting the above-mentioned basic eligibility criteria will be invited for test and/or interview.

Employment Type:
The employment will be on contractual basis for three years which may be renewed at the discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensation package and other benefits as per Bank’s policy/rules.
