ABOUT THE ROLE Bahria Town Karachi is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to supervise daily automobile repair workflows and oversee fleet maintenance. This role focuses on managing workshop operations, diagnosing technical issues, and guiding mechanics.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: B.E. in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
- Experience: 1+ years of practical experience in an automobile workshop or fleet environment.
- Skills: Knowledge of petrol/diesel engine mechanics, basic diagnostics, and routine servicing.
- Competencies: Basic workshop leadership, task scheduling, and maintenance record-keeping.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee daily vehicle repair, servicing, and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and engine issues alongside workshop mechanics.
- Prepare basic repair logs, work orders, and spare parts requirements.
- Conduct post-repair quality checks to ensure complete vehicle roadworthiness.
