CAREER OPPORTUNITIES IN STATE LIFE TAKAFUL: SLIC is looking for dynamic and result-oriented professionals for its Windows Takaful Operation for the following positions on a contract basis for a period of three (03) years, extendable subject to satisfactory performance:

S. No. 1: Manager (Finance & Accounts)

Max Age Limit: 45 years
Location: Karachi Based

Minimum Qualification, Experience:

Minimum qualification of a 4-years Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in the field of Business Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field
OR
Member of a recognized professional body of accountants (ICAP / ICMAP / ACCA)
Overall Two (02) years post-qualification experience, preferably in the Insurance / Family Takaful Sector
Understanding of fundamental principles of Takaful
Knowledge of Companies Act, 2017, Insurance Ordinance 2000, and Takaful Rules 2012
Strong analytical skills and the ability to make strategic financial decisions
Familiarity with MS Office
Preference will be given to those having working experience with Oracle or SAP software etc.

Role & Responsibilities:

Manage the process of financial planning, forecasting, and budgets
Prepare Accounts in accordance with Insurance / Takaful rules accurately and timely
Prepare financial statements (statutory and management accounts monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, and annually)
Identify, assess, and manage financial risks, ensuring robust risk management policies are in place
Monitor Investment portfolios, coordinate with investment division to assess the performance of investment assets, and make recommendations for adjustments as needed
Oversee the management of the divisions, including cash flow, liquidity, and capital management

S. No. 2: Manager (Policy Holder Service / Customer Services)

Max Age Limit: 45 years
Location: Karachi Based

Minimum Qualification, Experience:

Minimum 16 years of education, having completed BS/BBA or equivalent relevant qualification from a reputable University recognized by HEC, with a minimum of 04 to 05 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field
Proven experience in PHS / Customer Services, claims management, and legal compliance
Hands-on experience with the Family Takaful Operational Management System
Understanding of fundamental principles of Takaful

Role & Responsibilities:

To supervise Family Takaful PHS operations
To ensure smooth processing of customer requests, including underwriting and claims processing
To ensure timely completion of regulatory and legal compliance
To supervise a complaint management system
To supervise the Family Takaful Operational Management system
To coordinate with IT for all necessary development in the Operational System

S. No. 3: Manager (Business Development) Banca Takaful

Max Age Limit: 45 years
Location: Karachi Based

Minimum Qualification, Experience:

Minimum 18 years of education, having completed MBA / M.Com / M.Sc. or equivalent relevant qualification from a reputable University recognized by HEC with a minimum of 04 to 05 years post-qualification experience in the relevant field
Understanding of fundamental principles of Takaful and ability to design and implement strategic sales initiatives to capitalize on sales opportunities with bank channels
Ability to build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with banking partners and other key stakeholders
Ability to effectively train and coach bank personnel on Takaful products, enhancing their product knowledge and sales techniques

Role & Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies to drive and promote Takaful products through the banca-takaful channel
Establish and maintain strong relationships with partner banks to distribute Takaful products
Set and achieve sales targets for Takaful products and work with bank staff to motivate them to sell Takaful products effectively
Provide training sessions to bank staff on Takaful products, ensuring they understand product features, benefits, and compliance requirements
Work with marketing teams to design and implement promotional campaigns for Takaful products through banks and organize customer-focused events in coordination with partner banks to drive product awareness and sales

Note:

Please send, by mail or courier, the filled application form along with the paid copy of the DEPOSIT SLIP (in original) to “Pakistan Testing Service Head Quarter, 3rd Floor, Adeel Plaza, Fazal-e-Haq Road, Blue Area, Islamabad” within 15 days after the publication of this advertisement.
Applications without an attached FEE DEPOSIT SLIP will not be entertained.
In case of applying for more than one post, a separate application & deposit form must be processed.
Incomplete applications and those received after the last date shall not be entertained.
Only short-listed candidates will be called for the test/interview.
Deposited amount is Non-Refundable/Non-Transferable.
