PSX is looking for a talented, qualified and highly motivated individual for the role of Quality Assurance Analyst, which shall be based at Karachi office. Position’s key responsibilities, skillset and educational requirements are given below.

Key Responsibilities:

Develops test plans, test cases and test reports on multiple projects of varying size
Performs testing on various software and systems
Validates that user expectations are achieved during the testing process
Reviews user requirements documents to ensure that requirements are testable
Documents and reports system defects to the team / relevant person
Develops automated scripts for regression testing
Identifies and communicates business risks relative to testing
Works with business analysts and project team to determine the most effective testing and inspection strategy for projects of varying complexity and size
Ensures that measurable test objectives are established for each system being tested
Ensures that defects uncovered in the test are recorded, summarized and utilized in post project reviews in an effort to improve the development and test processes
Works with teams/individuals, business dept., development team, PMO, System Admins, Network Systems etc. to ensure the timely, thorough testing prior to release to a production environment

Required Skills:

Working knowledge of Waterfall and Agile/Scrum software methodologies
Working knowledge of Automated Testing tools and other related products
Familiarity with all aspects of Quality Assurance testing of software, including Unit, System and Regression testing
Skilled in the use of Quality Center to document, analyze, track defects and communicate testing results

Preferred Education, Experience and Certifications:

MS in Computer Science & IT in BS in Computer Science or equivalent
03 to 04 years of experience in the same capacity
Relevant trainings and certifications will be an added advantage

Position’s key responsibilities, skillset and educational requirements are given below.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Technical Information Security function, ensuring timely completion of all responsibilities.
Provide recommendations for new IS technologies at the PSX level to meet organizational needs.
Design, development, implementation, support, and continuous improvement of the PSX Source code review program, ensuring secure coding practices and standards in software development.
Drive the design, development, support and continuous improvement of the PSX Security Assessments, Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration testing & network configuration review program, conducting regular assessments for identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities including maturity assessments. Manage and track all findings till its closure.
Manage the design, development, implementation, support, and continuous improvement of the PSX Digital Forensics program.
Spearhead the design, development, implementation, support, and continuous improvement of the PSX Data Loss & Endpoint Security program.
Enhance the PSX Incident Response program by promptly investigating and responding to security alerts, providing technological support and ensuring a robust incident response framework.
Design, manage, maintain, and perform PAM System Administration, continuously improving the PSX Privileged User Management Program.
Define secure configurations & change management reviews in network, database, server, and desktop technology areas in alignment with the secure SDLC process.
Ensure privileged users lack persistent access to critical systems, with activities fully recordable, traceable, auditable, and monitored to address insider threats.
Provide reasonable assurance that changes to access are logged, approved, and authorized, with periodic reviews of users’ access rights.
Ensure timely engagement and delivery on information security, business and/or technology projects, initiatives, POCs pand Programs.
Enhance Email Security monitoring for spam protection, malware analysis, content filtering, and encryption of outgoing emails.
Ensure compliance with information security policies, standards, secure build checklists, guidelines, processes, procedures, and practices, aiming for a seamless audit experience with no observations raised by auditors.
Lead the design, development, implementation, support, and continuous improvement of the PSX Threat Intelligence Program, staying updated on the latest security threats and trends.
Ensure to perform tasks assigned by Head Information Security to maintain cybersecurity

Required Skills:

Preferably holds certifications such as CEH, CISM, OSCP, or other related certifications
Result oriented

Preferred Education, Experience and Certifications

Master of Information Security/Bachelor of Computer Science from reputable university/ institute
5+ years of relevant experience
Relevant trainings, knowledge and certifications i.e. CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, CCNA, CCNP, ITILv3, JNCIA Cloud, Sophos, NSE-4, endpoint protection, Cloud proxy will be an added advantage
Cybersecurity certifications within the defensive side would be a great plus.
