Position: Sr. Assistant Manager – Plant Control

Position Purpose

• To ensure accurate reporting and analysis of financial performance translated from technical performance as well as for inventories optimization. To ensure proper cost control, cost performance and recommend in time corrective measures for any cost deficiencies

Job Description

Costing & Budgeting

• Prepare monthly costing reports and conduct variance analysis of financial results
• Track variances and follow up on corrective actions on variable and fixed cost budgets
• Prepare feasibility studies for new products and projects

Capex Management

• Analyze capex budgets and track utilization against plan
• Monitor actual capex progress vs. budget and keep complete track of financial bookings

Performance Reporting & Analysis

• Analyze financial accounts against technical KPIs and plant performance parameters
• Prepare monthly performance presentations and trend analysis for management meetings
• Conduct monthly cost analysis with plant teams
• Track stock optimization targets

Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with plant teams on capex, opex, production schedules, and production plans
• Liaise with HO budget, reporting, and costing teams
• Keep management updated with current figures while constructively challenging plant technical teams on KPI performance
• Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis support as needed

Experience and Qualification

• MBA Finance / ACMA (Part Qualified) 
• 04 to 06 years of relevant experience.

Position: DGM Finance

Location: Islamabad

Department: Finance

Position Purpose: Provides strategic leadership to Bestway Cement Limited’s Finance and SSC operations, ensuring strong governance, standardized controls, regulatory compliance, and value creation while acting as a key business partner to the CFO and senior management across the organisation. 

Job Description

• Lead and develop finance planning and analysis and SSC Operations teams, ensuring smooth operations, financial discipline, compliance, and team development.
• Build a high-performance, control-focused finance culture aligned with Group values.
• Oversight and ownership of all of Bestway Cement’s Audit, Reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis deliverables.
• Strengthen Group-wide financial governance, internal controls, and risk management in support of the CFO.
• Oversee all operational finance functions including payable, payments collections, customer ledgers, credit control, invoicing, and cash management.
• Review and approve commissions, incentives, rebates, accruals, and related sales adjustments.
• Ensure accurate, timely SAP processing, reconciliations, and coordination with banks and commercial teams.
• Supervise vendor accounting, payment processing, advances, retentions, and policy compliance.
• Oversee inventory accounting, physical vs. book reconciliations, consumption trends, and scrap sales.
• Maintain and control fixed assets, CWIP/AUC, capitalization, depreciation, and borrowing cost accounting.
• Supervise cost accounting, costing runs, variance analysis, and cost allocations to support decision-making.
• Oversee payroll disbursements, gratuity payments, statutory deductions, and related compliance.
• Manage banking and treasury coordination, credit periods, advances, penalties, and covenant compliance.
• Oversee preparation of monthly management accounts with meaningful financial analysis and insights.
• Ensure timely statutory, regulatory, and audit reporting; coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulators.
• Drive continuous improvement of finance SOPs, ERP (SAP) automation, and cross-Group process standardization.

Experience and Qualification

• CA / ACCA Qualified
• Minimum 07 years of post-qualification experience (03 to 05 years in cement or manufacturing sector)
