Position: MANAGER PRODUCTION – CONFECTIONERY
Location – AFI Plant- Raiwind
Role Overview
Lead confectionery production operations to deliver production targets safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively while ensuring world-class quality, continuous improvement, TPM/Lean practices, and optimal utilization of people, equipment, and resources.
- Plan and execute daily production schedules to achieve volume, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Lead and develop production teams, fostering a high-performance, safety-first, and continuous improvement culture.
- Drive TPM, Lean Manufacturing, OEE, and operational excellence initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste.
- Coordinate with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Stores, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless production operations.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, EHS, and company quality standards.
- Monitor production KPIs, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions to optimize performance.
- Manage departmental budgets, labor productivity, material utilization, and manufacturing costs.
- Ensure effective inventory control of raw, packing, and work-in-process materials while minimizing losses and wastage.
- Ensure accurate production reporting and effective utilization of SAP for production planning and operational control.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, Industrial Management, or a related discipline.
- 8–12 years of production experience in the FMCG manufacturing industry, preferably in confectionery or food manufacturing.
- Minimum 3–5 years in a production leadership role.
- Hands-on experience with TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, OEE, and Continuous Improvement.
- Sound understanding of GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, Occupational Safety, Health & Environment (EHS), and Behavioral-Based Safety.
