MCB Islamic Bank is inviting applications for the position of Unit Head – Business Process Management & COSO Documentation.
𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Unit Head – Business Process Management & COSO Documentation
𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Lahore
𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Bachelor is in Business Administration, Accounting, Risk Management or a related discipline from a recognized institute.
𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 & 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀
At least minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
Proven middle-management-level experience in Business Process Management, Internal Controls, Branch Operations, or a related function, within the banking sector.
Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, Shariah-compliant banking operations, process optimization, internal control assessment, risk management and COSO Internal Control Framework implementation and documentation.
Demonstrated expertise in process drafting comprehensive operational manuals, business writing, policy and procedure development.
Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, ACCA, or equivalent will be an advantage.
𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 & 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
Lead the development, review, standardization, and continuous improvement of Branch Operations Manual, business processes, policies, procedures.
Identify process inefficiencies, operational risks, and control gaps, coordinate with relevant stakeholders to implement appropriate corrective actions.
Oversee process mapping and documentation to ensure operational efficiency, clear accountability, and alignment with regulations and Bank’s strategic objectives.
Drive the implementation, maintenance, and periodic assessment of the COSO Internal Control Framework across relevant business and support functions.
Develop, review, and maintain Risk and Control Matrices (RCMs), control narratives, and process-level internal control documentation.
Collaborate with business units and allied offices to strengthen the continuous improvement in control environment and ensure alignment with applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Monitor remediation of control deficiencies and audit observations.
