Who are we looking for?
- Minimum 16 years of education in business administration, commerce, accounting, economics, finance from HEC recognized/overseas university.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Relationship Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Collection Management
- Assist Head Collection in preparation of Annual collection plan & implementation at area level.
- Prepare and implement strategies regarding successful collections – specially against delinquent portfolio classified as NPLs (30+ DPD).
- Ensuring monthly area overdue collections/NPLs target achievement set by the head of collection in coordination with BMs/Sales team.
- Monitor, guide and support sales teams at branch level in execution of day to day collection management plans/ procedures / practices.
- Daily monitoring of last day collection progress with RM/BMs / LO Collection.
- One mandatory weekly visit of the branch of his area.
- Ensure monitoring of daily report of field activity through review of daily planner.
- Acts as a focal person at area level handling for collection related litigation cases and customer disputes.
- Regularly review the overdue accounts, risk profiling, raise the red-flag at early stages, maintain forward flows of the accounts etc. to control the delinquencies.
- Recommend for legal actions for non-recoverable cases and following up with the legal team for the closure of the cases
- Portfolio Performance Reviews & Analysis
- Ensure field level follow ups of delinquent portfolio to understand the actual reasons of default, credit policy compliance, service quality and staff relationship with the customers.
- Ensure that product default ceilings and collections are maintained as per annual bank strategies / benchmarks of areas and branches through various analytic models and updating the line manager accordingly.
- Compliance & Service quality
- Ensure positive customer service experience in the process of collections and ensure high standards of customer service & as bank’s defined per collection ethics.
- Ensure Collection management policies and guidelines are being adhered to throughout the area.
- People Management & Development
Ensure team is well trained and have complete knowledge of banking processes and policies to maintain the high level of customer services
Impart periodic trainings to sales Teams at branches on strengthening collection performance.
On job training of sales Teams regarding portfolio management and delinquent client handling.
Analyze field level portfolio performance review reports and identify training gaps.
