K-Solar is hiring a Financial Modelling Manager.

What you will be doing:

Own and maintain a single source-of-record financial model, ensuring strong version control, audit trails, structured inputs and clear documentation of assumptions.
Conduct and coordinate independent model reviews to ensure accuracy, integrity and robustness across transactions.
Build comprehensive project financial models covering capex, energy yield, tariffs and indexation, opex, degradation, residual value, working capital and tax.
Assess project economics through unlevered and levered returns, and model different business structures, including outright sales, instalments and rental models.
Develop segment-level unit economics and consolidate them into long-term business plans covering revenue, profitability, cash flow, balance sheet and capital requirements.
Perform detailed stress testing and sensitivity analysis across key risks, including tariff movements, interest rates, FX, project delays, energy yield, degradation and residual values.
Model default and recovery scenarios, including termination purchase price, outstanding debt and recovery costs.
Develop capital structure and financing models across different asset classes and business segments.
Model portfolio financing and securitisation cycles to assess funding requirements, capital recycling and the path towards a self-funding business.
Support institutional investor transactions by preparing portfolio data tapes, analytics and supporting financial information.
Reconcile financial models with executed contracts and regularly compare forecasts against actual performance, highlighting and explaining key variances.

What we are looking for:

5–10 years of experience in project finance modelling, infrastructure advisory, transaction services or investment banking.
Strong expertise in project finance modelling, including debt sizing, DSCR/LLCR, cash waterfalls, tax, deferred tax and circularity management.
Experience building and defending financial models relied upon by lenders or investors during due diligence.
Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail, model structure and documentation.
Experience in renewable energy modelling, including solar yield, wind P50/P90 analysis and battery cycling and degradation.
Exposure to securitisation or portfolio sale modelling is preferred.
CFA, ACA, ACCA or FMVA qualification is an advantage.
