🔍 IPAK is Hiring: Assistant Manager – Taxation 🔍
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Manage quarterly advance tax payments and withholding exemption tasks.
- Report discrepancies in ST declarations or withholdings for timely redressal.
- Monitor controls to reduce the risk of non-compliance.
- Handle tax compliance issues and ensure amendments are updated in SAP.
- Supervise day-to-day tax tasks and review withholding tax statements.
- Prepare/review current tax payable and deferred taxation.
- Coordinate with tax consultants on routine matters.
- E-file annual income tax returns and quarterly VAT returns.
KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional accounting qualification and/or a degree in Accounting/Finance.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations in Pakistan.
- Experience with tax software and ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- 6-8 years post-qualification experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector.

- Supervise and manage electrical maintenance activities for smooth plant operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in electrical systems.
- Monitor and maintain electrical equipment and systems for reliability and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide timely solutions.
- Prepare reports and maintain documentation of electrical systems and performance.
- Assist in planning and implementing preventive maintenance programs.
- Analyse electrical system performance and recommend improvements for energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments for electrical project requirements and support.
KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- B.E / M.E (Electrical Engineering) from a PEC-recognized university.
- 5-7 years of experience in the relevant field.
- Strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
