Job Summary: The Support Engineer Graduate Intern is part of a team supporting the customer and shall deliver support services according to the contracted Services Level Agreements by means of established processes. During the Internship, you will learn different aspects of Customer Support, Service Delivery, System Integration, System Trouble shooting, Report writing, Agile Development, e.t.c.With detailed customer networks knowledge and knowledge of the customer strategies the support Engineer identifies business leads and promotes Ericsson products and services to secure add on sales. The Engineer enables efficient service delivery of contracted customer support services by owning/drive the Customer Support Request within the Ericsson support organization.The support engineer is taking active part of the Emergency Handling support and is task managed by the Service Delivery Manager

Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Trouble Shooting for SW/HW issues
  • Handle customer service requests
  • Following up open issues and liaising with the end customer to seek a resolution
  • Installing patches
  • Handle 24/7 emergency support on a roster
  • Register Trouble Report and follow up
  • Perform verification activities
  • Software coding and development API based systems
  • Change of adaptations
  • Troubleshoot codes and carry out debugging
  • Carry out tests including User Acceptance for change requests.
  • Solution Support
  • Execute Product Deployment activities at customer premises
  • Collect user feedbacks and prepare service preparation documentation
  • Flexibility to work weekends or after office hours is also required from time to time.
  • Supplier/ Partner interaction

Minimum Qualification & Experience Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science / Computer-Electrical Engineering from a reputed University
  • Relevant experience in software development
  • Technical background and good knowledge of Mobile Money concepts
  • At least 6-12 months working experience of programming, troubleshooting, DB handling and trouble shooting
  • Experience in software trouble shooting and development API based systems
  • Strong personal interaction and verbal and written communications skills.
  • Good trouble shooting and Programming Experience with Java, Oracle and Redhat
  • Good competence in Unix/Linux, JAVA and SQL
  • Good knowledge of API based systems
  • Ability to think conceptually
  • Excellent team player.
  • hardware support experience a plus
