Position Title = > Shift Engineer – Steam Turbine Power Plant
Employment Type = > One Year

We are looking for a competent and experienced Shift Engineer to join our team at a Steam Turbine power plant. The role is critical to ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations under both normal and emergency conditions.

🕒 Experience Required: 7 years of experience with minimum 3 years at IPP as shift engineer.

📝 Key Responsibilities:

· Ensure safe and efficient plant operation within technical limits, in
compliance with EPA regulations, operating procedures, and power
industry best practices.
· Handle plant emergencies, normal operations, start-up, shutdown,
return to service, preservation and restoration, ensuring minimum
downtime.
· Operate the plant in compliance with NEPRA rules, Grid Code and IMS
standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
· To ensure proper logging and recording of all events and parameters.
Preparing shift event/trip reports, monthly/annual reports and all other
reports as assigned by Operations Manager.
· Ensure full QEHS compliance during the shift, strictly adhering to safety
procedures.
· Coordinate with maintenance departments regarding maintenance jobs
planning and execution.
· Communicate with ISMO and RCC for load management and plant
availability.

· Strong team player with effective communication skills.
· Excellent report writing and presentation abilities.
· Ability to lead emergency response teams during plant emergencies.
· Takes full responsibility for Quality, Environment, Health and Safety
(QEHS) compliance during shift operations.
· Leads by example, motivates team members, and maintains a
competent, high-performing operations team.
