Engro Energy is hiring a Deputy Manager Environment – SECMC, based at Thar Site.

The role involves managing sustainability and ESG frameworks, environmental reporting, audits, and performance tracking. Key responsibilities include driving climate initiatives, emissions reduction, energy efficiency, biodiversity conservation, water stewardship, and mine rehabilitation, while integrating sustainability practices into business decisions.

Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Environmental Engineering, along with 5–7 years of relevant professional experience, are encouraged to apply. Relevant certifications in sustainability, ESG reporting, IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards, and GRI Standards will be preferred.

Location: Thar Site

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Environmental Engineering, with 5–7 years of relevant professional experience. Relevant certifications in sustainability, ESG reporting, IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards (IFRS S1 and S2), and Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards will be preferred.

Job Summary:

Support sustainability and ESG frameworks, reporting, audits, and performance tracking. Drive climate initiatives, emissions reduction, energy efficiency, carbon market opportunities, mine closure and rehabilitation, biodiversity conservation, and water stewardship. Develop sustainability targets, benchmark industry practices, prepare reports, and collaborate across functions to integrate sustainability into business decisions.
