WE ARE HIRING HEAD OF EQUITY

The objective of the Head of Equity will be to lead and oversee equity investment function. To support implementation of investment strategies and ensure effective deployment of funds under management. To help other departments such as research, fixed income and product development where needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Formulate and implement equity investment strategies aligned with the firm’s investment philosophy, market outlook and performance objectives.
Oversee equity portfolios and mandates, ensuring effective portfolio construction, sector allocation and stock selection.
Drive investment performance through disciplined decision-making, active portfolio management and regular performance attribution.
Lead, mentor and develop equity portfolio managers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Work closely with the Research team to evaluate investment opportunities through fundamental company analysis, sector research and macroeconomic assessment.
Monitor portfolio exposures, liquidity and investment risks, ensuring timely rebalancing in response to changing market conditions.
Collaborate with the CIO on strategic asset allocation, investment outlook and development of new investment products.
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, investment mandates, internal risk limits and the firm’s investment policies.
Actively participate in Investment Committee deliberations, presenting investment recommendations, portfolio strategies and performance reviews.
Engage with institutional clients and other stakeholders, providing investment insights, portfolio updates and market outlook.

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification: Masters degree (MBA) or professional qualification such as CFA highly preferred.
Experience: 10+ years in equity research, fund / portfolio management.
