WHO WE SEEK We are looking for professionals who are builders, not maintainers — accomplished people with a demonstrated capacity to create and innovate; who experiment rather than merely optimize, and who collaborate across disciplines. Daanish University is seeking highly capable individuals for the following roles:

THE ROLES

1. Director, Outreach

Age Limit: 55 years (max.)
Location: Islamabad
Qualification:
- Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sciences, Education, Business, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Engineering, Sciences, Education, Business, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Degree(s) must be from a HEC-recognized national or international university/institution.
Role Overview: The Director, Outreach is responsible for building and executing Daanish University’s national talent identification and pipeline strategy. The Director will coordinate and manage the priority workstreams for Outreach, lead the DU National STEAM Talent Unit, and ensure that the university attracts a diverse, high-potential inaugural cohort from every region and socio-economic background.
Experience:
- Minimum 12+ years of post-qualification experience, with preferably five or more years in a senior leadership role managing large-scale projects.
- Proven track record of managing national campaigns or programmes, reaching diverse, large-scale audiences.
- Familiarity with data-driven decision making.
- Experience in higher-education outreach, admissions, or student recruitment would be highly preferred.
- Prior experience in designing aptitude tests or selection matrices would be beneficial.
- Proven record of active engagement in improving educational standards, and prior success in such education projects.
- Passionate about STEAM education, with a drive for excellence and a high personal standard for quality.

2. Manager, Marketing

Age Limit: 55 years (max.)
Location: Islamabad
Qualification:
- Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Degree(s) must be from a HEC-recognized national or international university/institution.
Role Overview: The Manager, Marketing is responsible for DU brand-building and for positioning DU as a world-class STEAM institution.
Experience:
- Minimum 6 years of post-qualification progressive marketing and communications experience, with preferably 2+ years managing campaigns at scale.
- Experience in education-sector marketing or cause-based campaigns would be highly preferred.
- Experience with rural or hard-to-reach audience engagement would be extremely beneficial.
- Proficiency in both English and Urdu is required.
- Developed and executed national, multi-platform marketing campaigns (digital, radio, print, social media).
- Managed creative-agency relationships and media buying.

3. Manager, IT

Age Limit: 55 years (max.)
Location: Islamabad
Qualification:
- Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- IT related certifications such as Cisco, Microsoft, or AWS would be highly beneficial.
- Degree(s) must be from a HEC-recognized national or international university/institution.
Role Overview: The Manager, IT establishes and manages Daanish University’s IT infrastructure and digital systems to support academic and administrative functions, providing technical support for staff and faculty.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, software development, network management, etc.
- Proficiency in network administration, cybersecurity, cloud services, and database management.
- Ability to manage vendors and build IT support function from scratch.
- Experience in higher education IT, or setting up IT systems for new organizations.
- Experience with LMS platforms (Moodle, Canvas) and SIS.
- Experience hiring and managing junior IT staff.
- Ensuring data privacy across all systems, in compliance with Pakistani laws.

4. Analyst (2 positions)

Age Limit: 35 years (max.)
Location: Islamabad
Qualification:
- Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Public Policy, Business, Sciences, Humanities, or a related field.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Economics, Public Policy, Business, Sciences, Humanities, or a related field.
- Degree(s) must be from a HEC-recognized national or international university/institution.
Role Overview: Analysts provide research, data analysis, and operational support across academic, finance, outreach, and infrastructure functions. Two positions are open under this role, each supporting a different functional area as assigned. The role suits professionals with strong analytical skills and a passion for institution-building.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and ERP systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication in English and Urdu; attention to detail; ability to work independently.
- Prior experience in education would be beneficial.
- Experience with statistical software (SPSS, R, Stata) or data visualization, and project management or coordination experience, would be highly beneficial.

5. Teaching Associates

Disciplines: Mathematics – Physics – Biology – Chemistry – English
Age Limit: 35 years (max.)
Location: Islamabad
Qualification:
- Essential: Bachelor’s degree in the respective area (Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, or English).
- Preferred: Master’s degree in the respective area (Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, or English).
- Degree(s) must be from a HEC-recognized national or international university/institution.
Role Overview: The Teaching Associate of a specific subject delivers foundational and bridge-year instruction in that subject to Daanish University’s incoming STEAM cohort, ensuring students are prepared for university-level coursework, and assists the University’s faculty with their research.
Experience:
- Demonstrated ability to teach diverse learners using active, project-based methods in their respective subject.
- Fluency in English; working proficiency in Urdu.
- Prior teaching experience at secondary or undergraduate level would be very beneficial.
- Prior experience teaching bridge, foundation-year, or intensive programmes would be an asset.
- Proficiency in a regional language is preferred.
