Position: PURCHASE OFFICER (Onsite)
Korangi Industrial Area – Karachi
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day outdoor purchasing activities for materials, supplies, accessories, maintenance items and other requirements as assigned.
- Source and identify reliable local suppliers and vendors based on quality, price, availability and delivery timelines.
- Maintain strong knowledge of Karachi’s local markets, supplier networks and routes to ensure efficient and timely purchasing.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from multiple vendors and negotiate prices, payment terms, quality and delivery schedules.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the same position, preferably within a reputable garment or textile manufacturing factory.
- Strong knowledge of Karachi’s markets, routes, suppliers and local procurement channels.
