Hiring – Purchase Manager
Qualification: Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
Experience: 10+ years in procurement, ideally within footwear manufacturing
Location: Multan Road Lahore

Job Tasks / Responsibilities:

Identify and vet suppliers for raw materials (leather, rubber, synthetics, adhesives, etc.).
Developed and implementing SOP and procedures to bring improvements in factory purchase operations.
Maintain optimal stock levels to prevent production downtime while minimizing “dead stock”.
Negotiate pricing and payment terms to meet targeted manufacturing margins.
Ensure all incoming materials meet the factory’s and customers standards.
Coordinate with production schedules to ensure materials arrive well in time.

Knowledge & Skills Requirements:

High level negotiations skill as a buyer of footwear materials
Knowledge of footwear material vendor base
Knowledge of different leather types and grades
Good administrative and supervisory skills
Good skills working with different teams of the factory
Effective communication skills
Proficient in all Microsoft office application

Attitude & Ability Requirements:

Must be intolerant towards wastage inefficiency and below standard quality
Must be relentless in practice of Kaizan
Able to handle team effectively
The ability to multi task
The ability to complete jobs and task in short period earlier rather then
Raw material inventory monitoring to prevent non-use material accumulation

Hiring : Costing Manager
Qualification: Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance/Equivalent
Experience: 5+ years in a manufacturing environment; Footwear industry experience

Job Tasks / Responsibilities:

Calculate the cost of different footwear labor and overheads on a regular frequency.
Verify the accuracy of the bill of materials to ensure material consumption matches the physical usage on the floor.
Monitor leather yield and chemical wastage, calculating the financial impact of production inefficiencies.
Develop and maintain formulas for allocating factory overheads (power, rent, maintenance) to each pair of shoes.
Compare standard cost vs. actual cost and report on significant variances.
Material issuance.
Price reconciliation of plan.
Cost estimation (pattern tracing).
Materials purchase cost control and regular comparison.

Knowledge & Skills Requirements:

Thorough knowledge of leather shoe costing
Good knowledge of synthetic shoe costing
Labor work study standard minutes of work
Should be proficient in work study
Must be proficient in the systematic and scientific analysis of work process designed to improve productivity, efficiency and waste reduction
Understanding of material consumption formulas and grade-based pricing
Sound knowledge of footwear industry
Data entry in Microsoft D365
Cost sheet making
Should be able to trace pattern accurate and correctly by hand on the graph paper
Expert level in excel and experience
