Position: Lead Mechanical Design Engineer – Storage Tanks
Job Details:
Location: Lahore
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (minimum) & M.S. and Relevant training courses (a Plus)
Experience: The Overall 10 years and relevant 5-7 years’ experience in Mechanical Design of Storage Tanks pertaining to Oil & Gas Plants, Refineries, Petrochemical Plants and Fertilizers Industry.
- Cone Roof Tanks
- Dome Roof Tanks
- Rafter Supported Tanks
- Column Supported Tanks
- Open Top Tanks
- Floating Roof Design
- Internal Floating Roof Tanks
- External Floating Roof Tanks
- Rectangular Storage Tanks
Shall have strong knowledge of International Codes and Standards (API-650, API-620, AWWA 0100, UL-142) with particular references to onshore upstream Oil & Gas facilities (SABIC/ ARAMCO/ ADNOC Standards, etc). Practical Experience / Knowledge of the design of Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers and other Static Equipment will also be considered in evaluation (a Plus)
Responsibilities:
• Mechanical Design Calculations
• Engineering/ Fabrication Detail Drawings preparation BOQ/ MTO preparation
• Datasheet, RFQs, TBEs, Construction Specifications & Contractor’s SOW preparation
• Coordination with the Client & Vendors
• Coordination with Vendors of Tanks Accessories / Appurtenances
(Floating Roof, Oil Skimmers, Internals, Breathing Valves, Gauge Hatch etc.)
