Job Opportunity – Manager Environmental Compliance
We are looking for a dynamic professional to lead our Environmental Compliance initiatives at Yunus Textile Mills Limited. This role requires a forward-thinking individual with strong expertise in sustainability, compliance, and environmental management.
Location: Landhi, Karachi
Education: Graduation/Master’s in Environmental Sciences/Engineering or related field
Experience: Minimum 6 years in environmental compliance, sustainability, or related domain
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and guide the team, improving performance and fostering growth
• Develop and implement sustainability strategies and plans
• Enhance sustainability projects and manage customer portals
• Track and advance KPIs across sustainability pillars (Energy, Climate, Water, Waste, etc.)
• Represent YTML in external forums (Net Zero, WWF, etc.) and collaborate with NGOs and academia
• Facilitate auditors, customers, and third parties in the sustainability domain
• Conduct internal and external capacity-building training
• Develop policies, improve SOPs, and prepare customized presentations
• Prepare and present the company’s Sustainability Report
• Identify gaps, evaluate new initiatives, and expand current projects
• Ensure adherence to environmental compliance regulations and empower suppliers
• Optimize costs and drive certification processes
