Position: Team Lead DBA
Location: Islamabad (Head Office)
Job Summary:
Oracle Production and Staging database Administration
Database Performance Tuning
Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products
Developing SQL/PL SQL Queries, Procedure, Function, Packages and Database Triggers
Database Health (e.g. monitoring, proactive and reactive Responses)
Backup and Recovery Strategy Planning and Implementation
The Database Administrator position will require an understanding of the following Oracle products:
- Oracle Database 10g, 11g, 12c
- Oracle RAC 10g &11g
- Oracle Grid Control
- Oracle ASM
- Oracle Streams
- Oracle DataGuard™
- Hands on and knowledge of Unix/Linux OS
- Candidates also having hands on and knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server would be preferred.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/MIS or similar experience/technical certifications.
- Oracle Database Certified Database Administrator.
- 6-7 years of Oracle database administration in an advanced or senior level role.
- Experience in a telecommunications environment preferred.
