We’re Hiring | Manager – Treasury Operations (Back Office)

We are hiring Manager – Treasury Operations (Back Office) for our Head Office, Karachi.

The ideal candidate will oversee post-trade processing, transaction settlements, regulatory reporting, and portfolio reconciliation. The ideal candidate will ensure operational accuracy and strict compliance with State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations and internal risk management frameworks.

Required Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or MBA (Finance) or any other relevant field.
Experience: 1–2 years of experience preferably in Treasury Bank Office / Treasury Operations within a Financial Institution.

Key Responsibilities:

Trade Settlement & Operations: Manage post-trade confirmation, verification, and settlement of Money Market, Forex, and Capital Market transactions (PIBs, T-Bills, Shares, Sukuk etc.).
Payment Systems & Clearing: Oversee Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS)/NIFT clearing operations and NCCPL e-providing settlements.
Deposit & COI Portfolio Management: Manage documentation, onboarding, KYC/AML checks, and maturity/interest payout processing for Certificates of Investment (COIs).
Accounting & Reconciliation: Ensure daily reconciliation of Nostro/SBP accounts, security holdings (SGLA/CDC), broker ledgers, and bank balances.
Regulatory Reporting & Audit: Facilitate periodic reporting to the SBP and NCCPL. Coordinate with internal, external stakeholders, and treasury related SBP regulatory inspection audits.
Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise directly with SBP, counterparty banks, brokers, and clearing agencies to resolve operational discrepancies promptly.
Stress Tolerance & Execution: Manage daily settlements and other time-bound tasks with composure and precision under strict deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or MBA (Finance) or any other relevant field.
Experience: 1–2 years of experience preferably in Treasury Bank Office / Treasury Operations within a Financial Institution.
Technical Knowledge: Sound knowledge and clear Understanding of SBP Prudential Regulations, Treasury Operations Manual, RTGS, NCC, CNCC, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/KYC standards.
Systems: Hands-on experience with Core Banking Systems (CBS), Treasury Management Systems (TMS) preferably advanced Excel skills.
