Uniworth, a leading men’s wear retail brand, is hiring for a 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐬
𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping in Xero.
- Process and reconcile supplier bills, clubbed payments, and multi-invoice settlements.
- Perform weekly/monthly bank reconciliations and POS (Point of Sale) data checks.
- Reconcile merchant card accounts (SumUp, Dojo, Barclaycard, etc.)
- Manage delivery partners (Uber Eats, Just Eat, Deliveroo) payouts and reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns.
- Handle payroll journals and support coordination with payroll provider.
- Generate branch-wise P&L reports, weekly performance summaries.
- Support audit, compliance, and monthly closing.
𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
- 5 years experience in accounting (hospitality/retail preferred).
- Proficient in Xero and Excel.
- Strong understanding of UK VAT, payroll journals, and delivery platform payouts.
- Experience with merchant account reconciliation.
