1. Chief Financial Officer

About the Role:
The role of the Chief Financial Officer is to ensure that TransKarachi control and manage finances well, and that the strategic planning and decision making are supported by sound analysis. The CFO must also provide the necessary leadership and support to ensure that the financial affairs are conducted in accordance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

Qualification & Experience:

Qualification: CA / CMA / ACCA / FCA/F-CMA/ACA / ACMA (A member of recognized body of professional accountants). The position shall be considered under rules 13 and 14 of public sectors companies (Corporate Governance) rules.
Experience: At least 10 years of post-qualification relevant experience including 05 years in a senior management position. A minimum of 03 years of experience in a similar role in a reputable national or international organization or public sector company is highly desirable.

2. Manager Transport Planning

About the Role:
Manager Transport Planning shall provide technical support pertaining to transport planning, traffic engineering, pedestrian and parking demand estimation and review for the TransKarachi Red Line BRT. The candidate shall also provide design, execution, and maintenance supervisory services for transport infrastructure development. The candidate shall support and carry out review and oversight of transport planning, traffic engineering, signage and congestion mitigation activities and management plan during construction of BRT Red Line and post-construction long term maintenance period.

Qualification & Experience:

Qualification: Masters in Transportation / Traffic Engineering or Infrastructure/Urban Planning with majors in Transport Planning or related field. Foreign qualification will be considered an added advantage.
Experience: At least seven (7) years of post-qualification relevant experience. Candidate should have demonstrated experience of Mass Transit and Public Transport Planning. Experience of a Mass Transit/Public Transport/Transport Planning Infrastructure Project with Multinational and Donor Agency Candidate will be preferred and considered an added advantage. A minimum of 2 years of managerial experience for a Public Transport/Mass Transit Planning and Implementation project is highly desirable. Relevant International work experience will be considered an added advantage.

3. Manager Operations (BRT) Control Center

About the Role:
Reporting to GM Operations and Market Development TransKarachi, the incumbent will supervise all aspects of control room operations for Bus Operations and other modes and function in the central control center. The Manager will supervise operator compliance, communications, dispatching, supervision of service and coordination during emergency situations. The Manager will also be responsible for developing guidelines, rules, and standard operating procedures, and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders including traffic police, security services, and contract entities providing services.

Qualification & Experience:

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transport Planning and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Management, or related fields from recognized university. Preferable Master’s degree in any or a combination of the disciplines of Civil Engineering, Transport Planning and Engineering, Management, or related fields from recognized university. Foreign qualification will be considered an added advantage.
Experience: Maximum of 10 years of post-qualification relevant experience, including minimum of 5 years of experience on a similar role in the similar sector will be considered an advantage. Relevant international work experience will be considered an added advantage.

Position is based in Karachi.
