SMEC Oil & Gas Pvt Ltd a leading Multinational engineering & design consulting company dealing in oil & gas, requires the services of the following its Islamabad office on urgent basis.

SENIOR PROCESS DESIGN ENGINEER

BSc. Chemical with more than 12 years of process design engineering experience especially in the Oil & Gas, up-stream and downstream sectors including gas processing plants, refinery, oil terminals, oil and gas transportation pipelines. Should have worked in Feasibility Study, Conceptual Design, FEED and EPC Projects. Proven working experience in process simulations, pipeline steady state/transient analysis, hydraulics, PFDs, P&IDs, HMB, relief & blowdown studies, equipment sizing, material selection, utilities, pre-commissioning, commissioning & operating manuals. Proficient in process safety design to perform risk assessment, actively participate in safety studies and develop process safety deliverables. Should have expertise in HYSYS, PIPESIM, PHAST, Shell FRED software. Should be an analytical thinker to manage cost and time constraints, knowledge of Int; codes & standard applicable to on-shore upstream oil & gas facilities,petroleum refining & petrochemical industry.

INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROL DESIGN ENGINEER

BSc. Electrical / Electronic Engineering with preferably 5 years of experience in a design office, conversant with International Codes and Standards. The candidate should have experience in preparation of engineering documents in oil & gas projects e.g. specifications of control systems, instruments, automated valves, installation layouts, wiring diagrams, data sheets of instruments and control valves, instrument index etc.

All candidates for above positions should be computer literate with thorough knowledge of related software packages / training courses with excellent communication skills and working knowledge of International codes & standard applicable to on-shore upstream oil & gas facilities in oil & gas, petroleum refining & petrochemical industry.
