Thar Coal Block-1 Power Generation Company (PVT) Ltd, wholly owned by Shanghai Electric Group, is engaged in power generation in Pakistan. The Company is one of the essential parts of Thar Coal Block-1 Integrated Energy Project, which is a flagship initiative under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

Position Title D&A Inspection Engineer

Job requirements

Conduct routine inspection and monitoring of D&A systems, including FGD, ESP, and ash handling units.
Identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, or structural abnormalities and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure maintenance and inspection activities comply with OEM guidelines, safety standards, and NEPRA/EPA regulations.
Prepare technical reports, inspection records, and maintenance documentation.
Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and safety departments for shutdown and overhaul planning.
Strong knowledge of FGD systems, ESPs, and ash handling equipment.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in inspection and maintenance within a coal fired power plant.
Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
