Saudi Pak Industrial and Agricultural Investment Company Limited is looking for an experienced and forward-looking technology leader to join our team as Head – Information Technology Division, based at our Head Office in Islamabad.
This is a strategic leadership opportunity for a technology professional who can drive technology strategy, strengthen IT operations and resilience, lead enterprise applications and digital platforms, and enable secure, reliable and business aligned technology delivery.

JOB SUMMARY

Saudi Pak Industrial and Agricultural Investment Company Limited is seeking an experienced, dynamic and forward-looking technology professional for the position of Head – Information Technology Division at its Head Office, Islamabad. The position reports to the Group Head Operations and will provide strategic leadership and end-to-end accountability for the Company’s technology environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and execute the IT strategy, 3-5 year technology roadmap, enterprise technology architecture, annual plans and budget in alignment with business objectives, risk appetite and applicable regulatory requirements.
Ensure reliable, secure and efficient end-to-end technology operations and service delivery, including data centres, servers, storage, networks, connectivity, cloud / hybrid-cloud components, endpoints, databases/platforms, service desk, incident and problem management, capacity and performance management.
Own the technical lifecycle and supportability of enterprise applications and platforms, including Treasury/Capital Markets, Credit/Risk, ERP/GL, HCM, Internal Audit, FMS and operating systems, while business divisions retain functional ownership.
Lead the technical delivery of technology projects and enforce disciplined SDLC, change, release and configuration management, including architecture, environments, integration, migration, UAT support, production readiness, rollback, go-live, stabilization and BAU handover.
Implement and operate technical information-security controls, including identity and access management, privileged access, network and endpoint protection, hardening, patching, vulnerability remediation, secure configuration and logging, in coordination with the independent Information Security/Risk function.
Ensure technology resilience and disaster-recovery capability through effective backup, restore testing, replication/synchronization, DR readiness, recovery procedures and participation in BCP/DR exercises.
Govern technology vendors, outsourced/cloud services, licences, warranties, AMCs and support arrangements from a technical perspective; monitor SLAs, manage technical escalations and provide technical certification of deliverables.
Manage ITD’s technology risks and technology-related regulatory and audit compliance obligations; ensure evidence-based remediation and timely escalation of material risks, incidents, vulnerabilities and overdue observations.
Lead and develop the ITD team through clear delegation, segregation of duties, performance management, cross-training, succession planning and professional development.

CERTIFICATIONS: Relevant professional certification(s) in one or more areas such as IT governance / service management, project or programme management, enterprise architecture, cloud infrastructure or cybersecurity (for example ITIL, COBIT, PMP / PRINCE2, TOGAF, recognized cloud certifications, CISM / CISSP or equivalent) will be preferred. Certifications are not mandatory.

EDUCATION: Minimum 16 years of education with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or any other relevant technology discipline from an HEC-recognized institution. A relevant postgraduate qualification will be advantageous.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in information technology, including at least 5 years in a senior technology management / leadership position. Experience in a bank, DFI or any other regulated financial institution, with exposure to regulatory, audit and technology-risk requirements, will be strongly preferred.
