Position : Assistant Manager Fabric Procurement – Apparel Division
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely fabric delivery, manage lead times, and resolve supply chain issues.
- Manage fabric sampling, track sample status, and maintain an updated fabric library.
- Maintain accurate records of fabric procurement, including IGP and GRN clearance for timely payments.
- Develop and maintain a categorized fabric library meeting customer requirements.
- Coordinate pocketing developments and arrange sampling/bulk orders with suppliers.
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand customer needs and ensure fabric procurement meets those requirements.
Education & Experience:
- BBA/ MBA/ Textile Engineer
- Having 2-3 years plus experience within the field of denim garment manufacturing.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of fabric types, quality control, and supply chain principles.
