Job Opportunities

The Health Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites online applications from eligible candidates for various posts under the Project Management and Implementation Unit (PMIU) for the revamping of Non-Teaching DHQ Hospitals across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The posts are on a contractual basis for an initial period of one year under the Project Implementation Policy (PIP), extendable based on performance and prevailing government policy. Preference will be given to candidates having relevant district domiciles.

Posts and Qualifications:

Emergency Care Unit Specialists (NPP): Maximum age limit is 50 years. The required qualification is FCPS A&E/FCPS Medicine & Allied/FCPS Surgery & Allied, valid PMC/PMDC registration, and two years of work experience in a teaching hospital or DHQ hospital.
Reproductive Health Officers (Female) (BS-17): Maximum age limit is 45 years. Candidates must have an MBBS degree or an equivalent qualification recognized by PMC/PMDC, along with complete FCPS-II training in Obstetrics & Gynecology, valid PMC/PMDC registration, and a minimum of one year of relevant post-qualification experience.
Clinical Psychologist (BS-16): Maximum age limit is 45 years. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from an HEC-recognized university, with at least one year of relevant post-qualification experience either in the public/private sector or clinical practice.
Emergency Care Technologist (BS-16): Maximum age limit is 35 years. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Emergency Care Technology (preferably surgical care) from a recognized university/institution and a minimum of one year of relevant post-qualification experience in Emergency Care Services.

Terms and Conditions:

Candidates must apply online via ETEA’s website (www.etea.edu.pk). All candidates must create a profile on the ETEA website before applying and ensure CNIC verification through NADRA-Sahulat franchise kiosks. Preference will be given to candidates with a domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or merged districts. Final scrutiny will be conducted after the ETEA screening test. Female candidates are encouraged to apply, particularly for Emergency Care Unit Specialists and Emergency Care Technologist posts (excluding posts at DHQ Charsadda, Karak, Abbottabad, Haripur, Molvi Ameer Shah Hospital Peshawar, and Govt. Naseerullah Khan Babar Hospital Peshawar).

Appointments will be purely contractual for one year, extendable as per government policy. These are project-based posts that will stand abolished automatically upon project completion. No TA/DA will be admissible for the interview. Candidates must submit equivalent certificates from HEC if they have foreign degrees. Providing incorrect information may result in rejection and legal action.

How to Apply: Candidates must first visit www.etea.edu.pk and apply online. After successful online submission, a deposit slip will be generated. Candidates must deposit the non-refundable test fee through EasyPaisa, Jazz Cash, or UBL Omni. The last date for online application submission is 9th May 2025. Candidates must download and print their roll number slips from the ETEA website and bring them for the test.
