Assistant Manager Taxation
Location: Head Office – Lahore
- Prepare templates for uploading invoice-wise sales and credit notes issued during the month on the IRIS
- Reconcile local & export sales, raw material and fixed asset imports declared in sales tax returns with general ledger records.
- Review reconciliations of input tax claimed on locally purchased goods and services and imports in sales tax returns with general ledger records and ensure complete record is maintained.
- Reviewing provincial sales tax withholding statements and ensuring compliance with various provincial laws.
- Reviewing payments and submitting Quarterly withholding statements in accordance with the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001.
- Compiling information and documents for company/director’s annual income tax returns.
- Prepare data to comply with various notices issued under the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, and Sales Tax Act, 1990.
- Any other work assigned by Department in charge
Education & Experience:
- CA(Inter) / ACCA / ACMA with 3 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in tax software (IRIS), Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and SAP.
- Strong knowledge of federal, Provincial tax laws and regulations with the ability to effectively present tax information.
