VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT: Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) is a state-owned enterprise responsible for the exploration, mining, and marketing of various minerals operating under the administrative control of the Ministry of Energy, Petroleum Division, Government of Pakistan. PMDC invites applications for the following post on an open contract basis:

Position: Manager (Technology & Digital Transformation)

Place of Posting: PMDC Head Office, Islamabad

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution. Relevant certifications (such as SAP, Oracle etc.) will be preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 08 years of experience in ERP management and digital transformation, with a strong track record of successful project implementation.
Experience in the mining or related industries preferred.
Proficiency in ERP systems and digital tools, project management, data analytics, and process improvement.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Age: 45 Years

Key Job Responsibilities:

Develop and implement ERP and digital transformation strategies aligned with the company’s goals.
Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of ERP systems.
Lead digital transformation projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
Identify opportunities for process improvements through digital technologies.
Ensure seamless integration of ERP systems with other business applications.
Manage data governance, ensuring data integrity, security, and availability.
Collaborate with various departments (HR, operations, finance, procurement etc.) to understand needs and support digital initiatives.
Manage relationships with ERP vendors and technology providers.
Provide training and support to staff on ERP systems and digital tools.
Stay updated on the latest trends in ERP and digital technologies.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of digital initiatives.
