PASSCO (Pakistan Agricultural Storage & Services Corporation) Ltd. is a public limited company registered under the Companies Act, 2017, engaged in the sale and purchase of commodities under the Ministry of National Food Security & Research.

Applications are invited from qualified legal professionals for the positions of Legal Advisor (Service Matters) and Legal Advisor (Corporate Matters).

Vacancies: Two

Legal Advisor (Service Matters)

Qualifications: LLB (preferably LLM/Bar at Law) from a well-reputed national/international university/institution, Advocate of High Court/Supreme Court with at least 15 years of practice, Age 40-55 years, Experienced in legal advisory of private or public sector companies related to service law, Ombudsman/Wafaqi Mohtasib, NIRC, Understanding of service and departmental rules, NILC, and Wafaqi Mohtasib proceedings, Having an office in Lahore.
Responsibilities: Represent PASSCO in court of law as required, Attend PASSCO Head Office to assist management, Provide legal advisory on service and departmental matters, policies, rules, Provide legal assistance related to departmental inquiry proceedings against employees.

Legal Advisor (Corporate)

Qualifications: LLB (preferably LLM/Bar at Law) from a well-reputed national/international university/institution, Advocate of High Court/Supreme Court with at least 15 years of practice, Age 40-55 years, Experienced in legal advisory of private or public sector companies related to corporate law, Companies Act 2017, SOE Act, SECP, PPRA, banking & taxation laws, and insurance laws, Understanding of corporate matters, companies relations, contracts, and BODs’ roles, Having an office in Lahore.
Responsibilities: Represent PASSCO in court of law as required, Create legal documents such as vetting of agreements, contracts, tender documents & negotiations thereof, Provide legal advisory as to corporate matters in accordance with Companies Act, 2017, SOE Act, PPRA Rules, SECP Rules, Banking & Taxation Law, and Insurance Laws, Develop meaningful solutions for legal issues, Attend PASSCO Head Office to assist management whenever called upon by PASSCO management.

Pay Package: Monthly remuneration negotiable.

Duration and Termination:

Initial retainer-ship for two years, extendable on performance.
Appointment on contract basis, terminated on one month prior notice by either party.
