POSITIONS ANNOUNCEMENT: The NFC Institute of Engineering & Technology Multan, a Federally Chartered Degree Awarding Institute, invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for appointment against the following posts in compliance with the directives of the Honourable Supreme Court of Pakistan communicated by the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Islamabad, vide their letter No.F.No.2-1/2024/UNI dated 12th July, 2024.

Vice Chancellor

Number of Posts: 01
Nature of Post: Tenure for a Term of 04-Years (Renewable)
Eligibility:
- The applicant shall not be more than 65 years of age (As per HEC criteria) on the last date fixed for submission of applications.
- Must have earned a PhD degree from an HEC recognized or UNESCO-listed institution.
- Must have experience in a Senior Academic, Research, and Management leadership position.
- Must possess a distinguished Research and Publications record.
Qualification and Experience: Applicants will be assessed according to their academic and leadership abilities and attainments as well as significant evidence of scholarship, administration, meaningful research, strategic planning, financial management, and resource development. A holistic understanding of issues pertaining to the higher education sector including enhancement of pedagogy and quality assurance, research and development, impact on economy, development of human and financial resources, and constructive social interaction with communities by developing an enabling environment in the universities will be considered as a major asset.
Attention: Candidates who have previously applied for the Vice-Chancellor position in response to the NFC-IET, Multan advertisement dated January 10, 2024, published in Daily DAWN and Daily Jang, are advised that they need not apply again, their applications will be considered as per eligibility criteria including age limit as per the previous advertisement.

Registrar (BPS-19)

Nature of Post: Tenure for a Term of 03-Years (Renewable)
Eligibility: Must have a Master’s degree or sixteen years of education or equivalent, with at least 2nd Division/C Grade from a recognized university combined with 10 years of experience as Deputy Registrar (BPS-18) or equivalent or above.
Age: 40-50 Years

Controller of Examinations (BPS-19)

Number of Posts: 01
Nature of Post: Tenure for a Term of 03-Years (Renewable)
Eligibility: Must have a Master’s degree or sixteen years of education or equivalent, with at least 2nd Division/C Grade from a recognized university combined with 10 years of experience as Deputy Controller (BPS-18) or equivalent or above.
Age: 40-50 Years

Treasurer (BPS-19)

Number of Posts: 01
Nature of Post: Tenure for a Term of 03-Years (Renewable)
Eligibility: Must have a Master’s degree or sixteen years of education in the subjects of Commerce/Economics/Business Administration/ACCA/ACMA CA inter or equivalent, with at least 2nd Division/C grade from a recognized university combined with 10 years of experience as Deputy Treasurer (BPS-18) or equivalent or above.
Age: 40-50 Years

Application Instructions:

Applications on the prescribed form available on www.nfciet.edu.pk along with a complete CV/resume and attested copies of testimonials/experience certificates with two passport size photographs should reach the undersigned latest by 16th August, 2024.
Applications for the posts of Registrar, Controller of Examinations, and Treasurer must be accompanied with a draft/pay order of Rs.3,000/- (non-refundable) in favor of NFC-IET, Multan.
In-service candidates of Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous bodies must apply through the proper channel.
Incomplete applications or applications received after the last date will not be entertained.
