ASSISTANT MANAGER INFORMATION SECURITY
Generic Role Description:
- Monitor and assess the organization’s IT infrastructure to ensure it adheres to security standards and policies.
- Perform regular penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security audits on Web, Mobile, Network Infrastructure, and Active Directory and etc.
- Perform Vulnerability assessment using Nessus on all the network assets of NBPFunds infrastructure.
- Perform social engineering attacks i.e. Phishing.
- Analyze security alerts and vulnerabilities, and work with internal teams to ensure timely remediation of risks.
- Oversee the implementation of security patches and updates across systems to safeguard against vulnerabilities.
- Assist in the development, review, and enforcement of security policies, procedures, and guidelines to align with industry best practices.
- Execute social engineering attacks, including phishing campaigns, simulating real-world attack scenarios to evaluate employee awareness and organizational defenses.
- Engagement with CTM360 & PWC. Assess reported vulnerabilities by third party vendor that are valid and actionable. Filter out the reported vulnerabilities that turn out to be false positives.
- Conduct security awareness training programs for employees, educating them on best practices and emerging threats, including phishing and social engineering attacks.
Desirable Education, Skills Knowledge & Experience:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Security from an HEC-recognized institution, with a preference for candidates holding a Master’s degree.
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing (VAPT) is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and regulations, with a strong focus on applying them during VAPT engagements.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven experience in incident response and handling security incidents, particularly those related to vulnerabilities identified through penetration testing.
- Hands-on experience with technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, encryption, etc.
