CAREER OPPORTUNITIES: Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals having requisite qualification and experience to fill the following posts on contract basis in National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) in Federal Government: –

1. Junior Analyst (OSINT) (BS-17)

No. of Posts: 1
Age Limit: 30 + 5 = 35 Y
Qualification & Experience:
- 16 years of education in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Digital Forensics, Data Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent from any HEC approved institution.
- Preference will be given to candidates having experience in Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), Social Media Intelligence (SOCMINT), Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), Threat Intelligence, Digital Investigations, Online Research.
- Analytical reporting and relevant international certifications shall be considered an added advantage.

2. Junior Analyst (Technical Investigation) (BS-17)

Age Limit: 30 + 5 = 35 Y
Qualification & Experience:
- 16 years of education in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Digital Forensics, Software Engineering, or equivalent from any HEC approved institution.
- Experience in cyber investigations, malware analysis, digital forensics, network security, incident response and blockchain analysis will be preferred.
- Analytical reporting and relevant international certifications shall be considered an added advantage.

3. Junior Analyst (Information Operations Monitoring) (BS-17)

No. of Posts: 1
Age Limit: 30 + 5 = 35 Y
Qualification & Experience:
- 16 years of education in International Relations, Media Studies, Mass Communication, Strategic Studies, Data Sciences, or equivalent from any HEC approved institution.
- Experience in monitoring online information environment influence operations, disinformation analysis, social media analytics, sentiment analysis, narrative tracking, digital campaign analysis, and strategic communication will be preferred.
- Knowledge of AI assisted monitoring platforms and data visualization tools will be an added advantage.

4. Junior Analyst (AI Automation & Tool Development) (BS-17)

No. of Posts: 1
Age Limit: 30 + 5 = 35 Y
Qualification & Experience:
- 16 years of education in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, Cyber Security, or equivalent from any HEC approved institution.
- Experience in Python Programming, AI/ML model development, automation framework, Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, API Integration, workflow automation, dashboard development, data engineering and cybersecurity automation tools will be preferred.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, DevOps, and modern AI frameworks should be considered an added advantage.

5. Junior Analyst (PW) (BS-17)

Qualification & Experience:
- 16 years of Education in IR, Peace & Conflict Studies, Terrorism & Security Studies, Criminology, Psychology, Strategic Studies from any HEC approved institution.

6. Junior Analyst (ORW) (BS-17)

No. of Posts: 2
Age Limit: 30 + 5 = 35 Y
Qualification & Experience:
- 16 years of Education in Social/Applied Sciences and Law (except MBA and Economics) from any institution HEC approved.
- Preference will be given to candidate experience in advance understanding of intelligence analysis and the application of structured analytical techniques.

7. Junior Analyst (CFT) (BS-17)

No. of Posts: 2
Age Limit: 30 + 5 = 35 Y
Qualification & Experience:
- 16 years of education in Banking, Finance, Economics, Commerce or MBA from any HEC approved institution.
- Preference will be given to candidates having experience in financial investigations and analysis, financial monitoring, as well as a foundational understanding of cryptocurrency ecosystems, blockchain technologies, data analytics, and basic orientation in Artificial Intelligence.

8. Junior Analyst (AI) (BS-17)

No. of Posts: 3
Age Limit: 30 + 5 = 35 Y
Qualification & Experience:
- 16 years of education in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, Cyber Security, Software Engineering from any HEC approved institution.
- Experience in developing and managing AI/Software applications will be preferred.

9. Jr. Data Scientist (BPS-17)

No. of Posts: 2
Age Limit: 30 + 5 = 35 Y
Qualification & Experience:
- 16 years of education in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering or related fields from any HEC approved institution.
- Experience in developing predictive models, analyzing large datasets, and presenting actionable insights through advanced tools such as LLMs, chatbots, and related technologies will be preferred.
Distribution of Quota: Merit = 1, Sindh (U) = 1

GENERAL INFORMATION/ INSTRUCTIONS

The period of contract would be initially for a period of six (06) months and likely to be permanent on the basis of performance evaluation.
Eligible candidates are advised to apply online through National Jobs Portal at their link https://njp.gov.pk Candidates applying for more than one post should apply online for each post separately. No manual or hard copy of application will be accepted by any office.
Candidates will be required to bring original documents (Educational, Domicile and Experience Certificate etc.) along with one set of attested copies of all documents at the time of interview.
Screening / Skill tests (where required) will be conducted as per Recruitment Policy of the Federal Government.
The Authority reserve the right not to fill any vacancy or to reduce/increase the number of vacancies, if the circumstances so warranted at the time of final selection.
The candidates working in Public Sector Departments/Organizations shall apply through proper channel and have to submit Departmental Permission Certificates from the respective department/employers at the time of interview, failing which they will not be allowed to participate in interview.
In addition to 5 years general age relaxation already allowed in the above table, further age relaxation shall be admissible as per (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1993.
Minimum and Maximum age shall be calculated on the closing date for receipt of applications.
Information provided in the online Application Form will be verified. In case of any false or forged information, NACTA reserves the right to cancel candidature of any candidate at any stage (even after employment, if so, revealed later) and to initiate legal action against the applicant.
Only short-listed candidates will be called for test/interview. All the candidates will be allowed provisionally to appear in the test/interview, subject to detailed scrutiny of their eligibility as per relevant criteria.
No TA/DA will be admissible for the Test/ Interview.
Last date of submission of Application Forms is 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisement. Applications received after the closing date will not be entertained.
