Applications are invited from SUITABLE, QUALIFIED AND EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONALS to serve in Pakistan Railways on merit against the following posts:

1. Director (Information Technology) (MP-II)

1. Number of Posts: 01
2. Required Educational Qualification & Experience:
   • Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems with 5 years of professional experience in a relevant field.
   • OR
   • Master’s Degree in Computer Sciences, MBA in IT, or MBA in CIS/MIS with 7 years of experience in a relevant field.
3. Age Limit: Maximum 62 years
4. Deputy Director I.T. Infrastructure (MP-III)

2. Number of Posts: 01
3. Required Educational Qualification & Experience:
   • Ph.D. in a relevant subject such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS, MIS, or IT with 3 years of professional hands-on experience in IT/Networks/IT Infrastructure.
   • OR
   • Master’s in a relevant subject like Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, IT, or a similar degree with 5 years of hands-on experience in servers, routing, switching, and firewalls. Only hands-on experience will be considered.
4. Age Limit: Maximum 62 years

Additional Information:

• Recruitment will be made as per the updated MP Scales Policy, 2021 issued by the Establishment Division, Government of Pakistan (O.M. No. 1/3/2020-E-6/E-8 dated 24-05-2021).
• The appointment will be on a contract basis initially for three (03) years, extendable for a maximum period of two (02) years on an annual (yearly) basis, subject to satisfactory performance.

• Candidates meeting the required educational qualifications and experience are advised to apply on the National Job Portal website, njp.gov.pk, by 11-09-2024.
• The place of posting for the above posts will be at Pakistan Railways Headquarters Office in Lahore. However, based on requirements, the authority may post officers anywhere in Pakistan.
• The Ministry of Railways reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
