Position : Assistant Manager E&I
Location – AFI Plant, Raiwind Road
Role Overview
AM E&I will be responsible for ensuring reliable, safe, and efficient operations of all electrical and instrumentation systems in the Biscuit and Confectionery plant. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, automation improvement, compliance, and supporting plant performance through technical excellence and cross-functional collaboration.
- Lead and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for all production, packaging, and utility equipment.
- Maintain and troubleshoot PLC, SCADA, DCS, and HMI systems (Siemens, Omron, Schneider).
- Calibrate and manage instrumentation such as sensors, load cells, and VFDs.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and reliability initiatives to minimize downtime.
- Support new installations, commissioning, and process optimization for OEE improvement.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety, food safety (GMP/HACCP), and HSE standards.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering (DAE with strong experience may be considered).
- 5-8 years in E&I within FMCG or food manufacturing (preferably biscuit/confectionery sector).
- PLC/SCADA (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, Delta), VFDs, servo systems, industrial networks.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, RCA, and leadership capabilities.
- Familiarity with HSE, GMP, HACCP, ISO standards, and power quality management.
