Key Responsibilities: Risk Management
- To Assist Head of Risk in development of operational risk policies and standards for risk management.
- To implement a strategic plan to prevent, eliminate & mitigate operational risk in Systems, Processes and People.
- Assist in identifying & evaluate risk across the operational activities and provide support to mitigate.
- Maintaining a log of identified risk, including theor likelihood and impact.
- Risk Quantification methods (e.g., statistical analysis) to assess the potential impact of risks.
- Tracking Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) t monitor the effectiveness of risk management controls.
- Implementing a system for reporting and analyzing operational incidents & systemic risk events, ensuring timely resolution and reporting.
- Periodically reviewing risk management processes and testing of key controls to ensure the remain effective as defined in process.
- Prepare and update Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) based on the process on yearly basis as required.
- Keep abreast of latest operational risk management techniques industry best practices.
- Co-ordinate & perform Business Continuity drill and submit report to Senior Management.
- Develop & update each department process on Microsoft Visio.
- Carry out detailed walkthroughs and process mapping to identify significant risks and controls.
- Coordinate with senior management in performing operational risk reviews.
- Supervise, Track and monitor operational risk issues bank-wide.
- Maintaining comprehensive records of risk management activities, decisions, and outcomes.
- Investigate root causes of operational risks and provide support to mitigate risk through quarterly GAP analysis.
- To maintain the data base related to Operational Loss Data.
- Any other Job responsibility as directed by Head Risk Management.
Job Specification:
- Holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration
- Preferably 7-8 Years of relevant experience.
