This is an on-site position based at our Corporate Office, Gulberg Greens, Islamabad.
Who are we looking for?
- CA Inter or CA Finalist, CMA, ACCA (Member), MBA (finance), Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, M. Com, PIPFA.
- Candidates having done CIA, CFE, CIMA will be given preference.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience wherein a minimum of 3 years of experience in Internal Audit/ Finance/Risk/ Internal Control preferably in Banking sector at a Supervisory/Responsible level or equivalent Experience in Operations, Accounting, Business/Credit analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Functional Responsibilities
- Develop and perform all necessary audit tests/procedures, executable audit programs, control tests, identify audit findings and draft recommendations.
- Review/analyze and follow up the action plans submitted by auditee unit for resolution of observations and accordingly update the status of follow up.
- Conduct/organize and conclude the opening/closing meetings including information request, engagement documents for auditee etc.
- Administrative Responsibilities:
- Maintaining all organizational and professional ethical standards. Independently work under the general direction of the Audit Team Lead / Manager Branch Audit / Chief Internal Auditor with latitude for initiative and independent judgment in areas under review.
- Conduct Management:
- Exercises due professional care in representation of KMBL and Internal Audit Department of KMBL, within and outside the bank by maintaining Integrity and confidentiality of the information.
- Communication:
- Communicate to Manager Audits & Special Assignments the results of audit and consulting projects, analysis, trends and any relevant information via written reports and/or oral presentations on a timely basis, according to planned reporting schedule or as required/necessary to the CIA and audit committee.
- Develop creative communication with the management in order to support Internal Audit Dept. in the realization of their objective and to help the internal audit department as a whole in maintaining permanent knowledge of local issues, topics and relevant information.
- Support:
Assist the Manager Audits & Special Assignments in managing Management audit staff and in the planning, organizing, directing, and monitoring of internal audit operations, including assisting in hiring, training, and evaluating staff, and taking effective actions to address performance matters.
